Liz Ard I still get advertised gift card scams on KZbin!!! I understand shitty youtubers doing it in their videos, but it should not be directly advertised to me. It’s been happening for years and I do not understand if youtube is just greedy and doesn’t care, or they don’t review what they’re advertising across the platform. And I don’t know which one is worse. Edit: I just remembered, not only do I get advertised scams, but I’ve been advertised ads that will admit that they lied. He is probably having his ad running 1000's of times, and if he just gets 1 sale per 10 to 15 ads he will be making a lot of money, and once these scams have got you, they feed you their next course to take. I think the return rate for email scams is 7% and they know if you are willing to pay them once, there is a good chance you will give them more money.

I believe that Matt's channel has one objective. He wants to sell his course. Every single video's focus is directing you to take the course. Just like many Get Rich creators he uses imagery to excite people into thinking he can make you rich. He is well-spoken and he presents well. I can't help seeing contradictions. When he started his channel he was already an expert and had his formula down and was very familiar with the whole process. As he is demonstrating how much money we can make following his direction he opens up the Social Blade website to show example channel's earnings. Then he confirms its accuracy to be in the range of about midway between the listed dollar amounts. I don't know how accurate Socialblade is but he stated that he knew for sure because of his years of experience with his multiple channels. He also used triggering language to get people to believe him so they would buy his course. He is clever, like a politician. I am not trying to make any moral judgment just speaking to what I find to be credible. There is no issue for Matt to direct people to any KZbin channel to prove he knows what he is talking about. He convinces us that we can follow what they are doing right to achieve their kind of success. Proves their success with Social Blade. Matt says he doesn't want anyone to copy him so he keeps all his successful channels top secret. Using other channels is of no risk to him, so it's okay. Not that I think the risk is as great as he states for justification of keeping his successful channels secret. Doing what you don't want done to yourself to other people isn't something that would sit well with me if I were to do it to someone. There is a lot of food for thought there. His truth is too convenient for words. He has a MoneyMatt channel that he speaks of like it is blowing up and is making him so much money. It could be in some way. He has a lot of followers. I decided I was going to use one of his measurements that he endorsed so heavily when he started MoneyMatt. I entered his details into Social Blade. He is making a surprisingly low amount of revenue from that channel according to SocialBlade. This was his method of proof when he began his channel. Remember, he had a ton of experience at that point. I am certain he is making money selling his course but I am not seeing evidence of his expertise on this channel. Lots of personal finesse and great salesmanship. He says the same things that we hear over and over on other similar channels and I find it to be quite repetitive with a clear objective. I did believe that his channel was successful in and of itself. I don't know how to measure it with any kind of accuracy. My biggest question is why after so many years of success he has not been able to break a million? He is in the most lucrative niches of all. I was surprised by the low earning estimates and thought they would be much higher. I don't think he could convince me that he is as experienced as he professes to be. He's telling all of us how lucrative KZbin is when it looks quite the opposite when you research with his initial method of analyzing success. He attracted me to his videos and had me intrigued but I don't like gaping holes in logic or the repetitive nature of his content. When people have dollar signs in their eyes they will buy anything. It's a shame really. Good for him and his consistency, I wish him lots of success.

What I dont understand is why they removed the option to report ads on videos or on the home screen. The amount of times I get big tiddy anime girl dating sites or Indian dating sites. I fully agree that the ads need vetting wayyyyyy more or at least the option to report inappropriate ones or ones that are really questionable

Oddly enough, i got an ad on this video for training on how to advertise on youtube. An ad advertising ads as the best way to advertise.

Thank god for patreon. I hate that creators are restricted on their language and subject matter because KZbin will demonetize them.

there is actually a way you can block a specific ad from appearing on your videos if you know the url. not sure how to do it, but simplynailogical talked about it in her podcast, so there is a way
