Hello Gary, it's mostly aesthetics but i think there are some benefits to yaw stability and flow behaviour if you can place them as rearwards as possible

I like to make them one color on One Wing and a different color on the other because sometimes when they get a little far you can lose orientation quickly.

excellent model flys very nicely - i noticed that the wing tip fins on this model and another you have shown before (yours?) are not full length of the wing tip chord - is there a reason for this? - probably a dumb question but i just wondered

Stunning, another of my projects too, how did he get the cg back far enough given that sweep or had he employed a reflexed trailing edge airfoil? I don't see pronounced wash out either

Staggered washout on this one ending with about 4 deg on the final stage of twist. Nose weight needed to get the cg correct!

Thanks mountaindew dude, this a reduced span version of my wing in the other video you have just commented on, on my other channel. Happy Flying to you!!

What's this made out of? I'm currently building one very much like this out of dollar tree foam board. Very nice though!

Hi Icy Bird, the wing was pink foam cores hot wire cut with a CNC machine, then skinned in obechi veneer. Good luck with your build!

So beautiful! Isnt it the wingroot and wingtip same shape(size)? no washout?
