They had plenty of fish today. I know that I don’t like for them to miss a meal either but this female intruder did not hurt them. She just jumped in the Nest when M 15 did and grabbed one of the fish there were two she was hungry as well. She did not touch the E’s and I’m happy that is a really good day of eating plenty of fish, because of their mighty eagle daddy

Whish the camera person, don´t close up when there are more than 2 eagles in the nest. It is impossible to watch what is going on due to the close up.

Yes I think they zoomed in to see what the prey item was but unfortunately it missed the intruder stealing the fish!

I think exactly the same !! Why is the cam op zooming in so close that we only see feathers instead of opening the view to really see what is going on… and they do it every day … unbelievable

The thief is most likely "gnarly foot" that was seen around on the same day. I think I see foot in one frame. She just showed up this day. Also she has a wound around her nostril (nare). Looks like her first visit to the nest. No others have had a wound to the face.

It breaks my heart to see an eagles nest in a tree over a freeway instead of in the wild where they beling. Urban development is not always a good thing.

Yes when I travel in Florida I notice they're more likely to nest near a busy road than in a rural location. I think the roadkill attracts them

I lived in Florida for 20 years and spent 10 of those in Miami. I used to go out in the Everglades a lot and was always happy for the animals living there that they had so much uninhabited space. I feel the same way you do about seeing the cars (and hearing them) on this cam.

@@kensmith2796 It is very uncommon for such a wild animals, but I think that living in a secure place with a pond and "private" on the ground of course, helps them to drink water pacefully. However, there are also predators like the owls... but the eagles learn to avoid the cars... they get used to the cars and not panic. I just hope the eagles never try to catch an animal crossing the road 😮‍💨

Isn’t M the epitome of a hero?! Wow he has really stepped up unbelievably. So cute he is still feeding them too. They are still learning and some rusty but they will get there. Feisty and determined. ❤

Yes! Can't stand these women sniffing around M. He's busy trying to raise them to fledge and they CAN'T hunt yet. But you women CAN.
