This is an incredible capture, TRSP❣️ *Thank you!* 🤗 The view from the cam doesn't always show us the deliberate nature of their branching and fledging. This clearly shows that E21 was reaching for the spike. She was not going to go back down to the nest from a hover. She wanted to go where she landed. We also couldn't see E22's reaction and how intently he was studying and watching what was happening. And, soon, gave it a try, himself. As I watched the cam, I was thinking how great it would have been to have seen what E22 did at that moment. Now, I/we know! This nest remains a miracle. M15 raised these two on his own, with so many challenges, for more than 6 weeks. They still had to be fed when Harriet disappeared and here they are, approaching fledging. I am so grateful to have been a witness to this amazing father. May he find another mate as good as Harriet.

Great capture!! A couple of times she looked right at you. When videoing one is focused on following the action, centering the frame, etc, and you never really know what you have until you get home and process it. In all my years of photographing and videoing wildlife, the greatest thrill is (for me anyhow) when you watch the playback and see them looking right at the camera, which really means they are looking at you. She looked at YOU! Again, awesome capture.

Absolutely beautiful footage. Both the E's grew up without a traditional mom and dad Eagle tending them. As we all know M15 has been legendary, but there's only so much one Eagle can do, and so the E's have had it rough at times throughout. We're seeing the making of two resilient and determined Eaglets who've been forced to grow up fast, and that are gonna grow stronger with deep wells of fortitude, God willing.

A million times, thank you, TRSP. We’re so lucky that you’re with the eagles, filming and showing us their lives from different perspectives and angles. I watched this on the Pritchett Cam, and they do a fantastic job but are limited in what they can produce. Your videos are always so stunning and dramatic, with the perfect music as an accompaniment. I have a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes, but a smile on my face as I watch Big Sister E21 in all of her glory, while Little Brother E22 studies intently and looks forward to his turn (yes, I believe they’re girl and boy).
