GE Lady Hawk! Amazing coverage here! You combined all three cams for the whole experience of her accidental fledge and did an amazing job! I'm somewhat concerned for her since it was an accidental fledge after all but I have high hopes she'll make her triumphant return to the nest tomorrow morning for breakfish. I love the footage with her on the ground laying in the grass from the pond cam! Also the horses approaching!💞. I think we can all admit, there's nothing quite like this pasture with all these cameras to capture everything. Thanks again LH and we'll be glued to the live feed tomorrow for sure.💜

Thank you Tom Sawyer!!! ♥ I am not concerned for E15! Seeing how well she flew from the ground to the fence and then back to the pond and ultimately to the front pine - on her first flight with a not so perfect fledging - E15 will make it back in no time at all. I will be watching tomorrow too and these three cams are amazing so we can see the whole experience!! E15 enjoyed the time on the grass!!! It was a big nest that was all hers!! ♥♥ Tomorrow will be an epic day no doubt!!

What a star! E15 hatched on the day I lost my dear sister Elaine to Covid-19. A few days later I caught up again with this brood and I haven’t been disappointed. I know E16 is the more gentle of the two but to see this really warms my heart. E15 reminds me of Elaine, very tenacious. Loves a challenge and stands up for itself. Such an amazing family that I have followed since E9 hatched. Harriet and M15 are incredible parents. I remember E9 fledged early too and both H&M used to feed it whilst on the ground. Building up a great catalogue of memories from this family. Thank you so much Lady Hawk. 🙏💞

I am very sorry on the loss of your sister J Wilson. Yes E15 was adventurous and very tenacious - facing all these challenges head on with courage. I lost a family member right before E9 hatched and spending time watching this family and doing videos of his milestones really helped me deal with the grief I was experiencing. E15 will always be special to you now with your sister!! Take care!! ♥

Oh my, no doubt we’ve all been wondering about something like this. Up in the tree I’m thinking so much body and wings to learn to control. And then down in the pasture looking very juvenile all over again. I am sure eagle parents know how to cope with this and brave young E15 looked around for a long while before calling for help. Oh my goodness, our poor little one!! E15 appears scared and unsure of herself and surroundings. She found her wings and was able to fly up into tree branches close by. We know that Harriet and M will watch over and care for her. We all want to see her fly back up to the nest tomorrow. THVM, LH, for compiling all the different camera videos and angles. It was almost like you wanted to coach E15, ‘you can do it, you can do it. You’re going to be okay’.

@@ladyhawk E15 is such a confident eagle & big sis!! She was definitely enjoying her freedom!! While I, on the other hand, about had a heart attack holding my breath so long especially when she got so close to the road. Did you notice the little bird on the fence staying right by her and not harrasing her 😄 as if trying to help her? Between the bird & the beautiful horses 💕 it's as if they were trying to get her away from the road. I don't think she will stay in the nest to long after all her adventures except to make sure that E16 is ok. This is my 1st season to eagle watching and I have learned so much! Thank you so much for all your hard work getting the perfect video ever of the whole experience!! SEDS 💜

I watched this all kick off last night, I said to my wife "I think E 15 is biting off more than she/he can chew here, with the strong wind and the going from new branch to new branch malarkey." I'm in the UK and five hours ahead and I couldn't prise myself away from the TV until I saw she/he was back off of the ground and as safe as possible. Great lessons learned by E15 tonight, The Horse did her/him a big favour, in giving her/him no option but to fly. The last image I saw was E15 in the tree near the road and Harriet or M sat higher up in the tree close by. it's a good job I'm furloughed from work, (due to the hideous virus) as it was 2:45am when I finally got to bed....So worth it though. Thank you for your montage's LH. Now my wife can see most of what she missed.

I watched this live, and I must say it sure was something to see. She sure had an adventurous day. I was amazed when she ended up near the fence by the pond and the horses scared her, and she flew right across with total ease and landed near the pylons by the Oak office. So incredible to watch. She is definitely resourceful and flies very well. She is learning the area now, and I'm confident after watching her that she will be able to find her way back to the nest. She has a strong spirit and is very adventurous. Everything feels new now. Would be nice for Mom or Dad to join her and bring her some food, like they did for E9. I'm proud of you E15! Kudos! Will be an exciting day today as we watch you live. E16 is waiting for you!

when birds’ legs are bent in a sitting position it locks a tendon that controls their toes so you almost need to peel their toes off something, or straighten their leg, to unlock them. it helps them hold on

Oh my! Glad E15 is on private property without predators. To me it looked like the horses came by to tell E15 it was not a safe location. Also glad E15 stayed on the private property. The parents still feed their young when accidents like this happen. Excellent camera work as always Lady Hawk. Thank you! I was on the edge of my seat hoping E15 would not go off the property. I hope E15 makes it back to the nest okay. 💞💕💖🕊👍

It is 6:20 at the nest. E-15 is still in the tree where he spent the night. He is awake and stretching wings. E-16 is awake in the nest. From about 5:30 to 6 he would try to sleep with his head tucked in his wing but it kept falling out, then he would try the other side, same thing - fell out. I think he was having a hard time stayhing asleep.
