SWFL Eagles_ E23 - Great Flying Skills & Perch Spot Selections With Antics Thrown In 04.25.24

E23 has become a magnificent flyer, flying with purpose and also appearing like a comical "stunt man" at times. E23 seeks out sturdy as well as tall trees to perch in while watching the territory for intruders and also Mamma & Dad. E23 is 116 days old today.

Thank you Vicki and an awesome early morning video of first the awesome full moon, then our sweet and precious E23 who is always been pestered by those Shrikes and also the Blue Jays too.🙄🤨. I was surly hoping too (and E23 had the chance to) she would just grab that Shrike and just go to town and de-feather it too. That would have been such an awesome sight for her to do and for us to see too. However, I have also noticed too that E23 loves to fly and soar cause this is usually all I see with her too which is so relaxing to watch too.🥰🦅👍🏻. Thank you once again Vicki for another awesome video and also thank you too for showing off the horses too cause not only does E23 make me smile but so do the horses too.🥰🦅🐴. This eaglet E23 has helped me with my serious health issues to distract me from excruciating pain😢😮 watching listening to this eaglet who loves to fly around tease play with ducks puts up with pesky dive bombing birds talks with owlets in eagle tree nest yells at mom for bringing a stick not food one minute cozy up to mom next minute giving M15 a hard time teaching then surprising DAD with flying skills. Intelligent eaglet like M15 F23 who loves mom & dad but try to take food away ouch toes feet feathers😅😂🎉 please stay til end of May E23 until your hunting fishing protective skills are fine tuned for survival🎉❤

Sharon Shneyer, Bootsie,I agree with your emotions completely. I have been going through allot this past year as I lost my only direct living family member. I miss the days when I would take paratransit to my Aunt's assisted living facility, arriving at around 7:00am, and leaving at around 7:00pm (I was going in the opposite direction of all the traffic that was headed downtown). There are some other relatives but they don't care. I just went to a memorial service sponsored by the Health systems hospice unit that provided services for her. They follow up with bereavement counseling for a year, so I only have about 3 more months of services. I know that I will have to seek out additional bereavement services, although I have a therapist it is not enough. I would show my Aunt the eagles and other wildlife, but she was not up for videos. I would also show the other residents the eagles and what not who were not interested in the big TV in the dining area. This has helped me cope as well, but soon the moderated chats will end, and I will be at a loss for something that can distract me if only for a brief bit. I have been watching since Season 1, so I have seen everything that has gone on at this nest. Bootise you somed up perfectly what has gone on at this nest this past year. The shrikes definitely pester E23, and they do the same to M and F. The shrikes have nearby nests and offspring that they are trying to protect just as M&F protect E23. Hope that helps.

What is kinda funny is, M, F, and E all just mind their own business and don’t bother the Shrikes nest or babies and the Shrikes have to be an absolute nuisance to this family.🤔❤️🦅🦅🦅
