It was great to see both M15 and F23 when I visited the nest area this morning. I initially saw F23 flying from the NE to the SW across the road slowing to land on the cell tower, joining M15 there. They perched there, preening and watching activity in their area over an hour before flying off together to the NW. This is the cell tower the neighbor eagles perch on during nesting season. When they leave the area during the summer, M & F will perch there frequently. M & F remain in the area year round, as we know from past seasons. They both looked great. This is their 'own' time between nesting seasons, resting up for another season of preparing the nest in the fall, laying eggs and raising new offspring. E23 has not been seen since May 3rd as is normal since the new juveniles leave the area on their own to be with other juveniles and adults for areas of abundant food sources.
