Cathy Adams Yes, I totally agree!! I have seen Robin's born as our home in Philadelphia when I grew up had an overhang on the front!! My dad put a bird feeder up. Of course you can imagine WHO showed up then!! Squirrels!!! Our 2 dogs would only watch the birds. The squirrels, not so much!! They would bark at the squirrels. But one spring we got to watch a Robin lay her nest next to the feeder! Those tiny blue-green eggs, were so pretty!! Then one day, the eggs hatched!! We were not prepared for the little baby Robins!! I think mommy Robin picked that tree and spot because it was under the awning!! Some winters, right after the eggs were laid, we would get a late spring cold front and the awning with that branch under it, the tiny eggs as well as mommy Robin were protected from a last minute storm!! But thd only place we ever saw an Eagle close up was at the Philly Zoo! And up until I came across Lady Hawk's videos of M15 & Harriett, as well as E9 and (God rest his or her little soul, Eggbert) that was the only timd I had ever seen a baby eaglet being raised!? Believe it or not, the first day I stumbled onto Lady Hawk's first video, it was just after Christmas! I had gotten a case of bronchitis and was bored so I started watching You Tube!! I had been watching kitten/cat videos and had it on auto start for the next video down! Suddenly I went from cute kittens & cats to watching Harriett having her 2 eggs!! So I thimk I feel like most of your fans, Lady Hawk, THANK YOU for showing up something that most of us would probably never get to see in real life!! I also started to notice that some of Lady Hawks videos, ones, that she worked so hard on to bring to us, were being copied and put out to the world!! I know it made me upset & angry to see the work of Lady Hawk, stolen by people who only changed their name, but it had EVERYTHING from HER videos without giving her credit!!! I was so glad when she finally got her videos copywrited to her name!! Lady Hawk has given each of hee TRUE fans a wonderful view with her hard work!! So THANK YOU Lady Hawk, for all you have done!! E9 has gone off on his own now. And I believe it was one of Lady Hawks viewers that gave the poor little guy or gal who did not live long enough to see the world--that tiny little guy or gal WE nick named Eggbert!! I started watching a video of another persom watching Harriett, M15, & E9. In that comment section, it said that they thought someone gave a new eaglet the name Eggbert!! I looked at the name of the person putting that video up and the person who had put it up, said they did not know who Eggbert was!! At least we Lady Hawk fans know & APPRECIATE all her hard work!! M & Harriett, I hope we see you at the end of 2017!!

It totally surprised me to see it in my email today. I have mostly stayed away from the SW Eagle Cam since E9 left us simply because I could not fathom how hard his leaving would hit me. Each time I would try to watch a video of him the tears would roll again so it was best I leave for a time.. Silly, I know. I only smiled when I watched this one of yours today and I know he was taught well and will do just fine.. My word he did what nature told him to do and for that he is a superior young eagle on his own personal journey to see the world. I have always called E a "he" but honestly think E is a "she" because of the size of him. I seem to have a void by not tuning in daily to watch some of his antics and drama but I will be ready in the autumn when I feel Harriet and M15 will start their latest family and although E will always remain in my heart, watching any new fluffy eaglet newbies will grab my heart in that same way. Hi! Curious 'George' is the name of a children's book. About a cute little orphaned brown monkey, and all his curious adventures. I have always thought of E9 as a cute and curious little one. Beginning when standing near the edge of the nest and looking down and around for hours at a time, and later after E9's accidental fledging. I will definitely check out your newer releases.
