SWFL Eagles_ Priceless Interactions Between M15 & E15 09-03-20

E15 & M15 were perched side by side in the south pine. E15 vocalized pretty much non-stop while M15 listened/ignored/vocalized back. E15 'crowded' M15 but this dedicated dad remained, even when nipped on his head feathers several times by E15. Such a precious dad and juvie offspring!!

E15 is talking Dad's ear off. I think she wants him to go so she can have the branch to herself, and wanting him to go get her something to eat. Dad stood his ground, and is tuning her out. She's yelling in his ear too, she is so close to him. I was surprised that she nipped at his head feathers. Best to ignore her he thought. E15 is having a hissy fit. Good thing he finally left and went to where it's more peaceful.

This was so cute😍. E15 really had lot to say and she turned her head to her dad so it wouldn’t be no mistake “I’m talking to you” 😁. He just listened. But when she leaned into M and he leaned back away from her that was funny 😁. I had to replay that part a few times 😁. M was smooth too. This daughter daddy time was very special. Great capture. I was cracking up at this! Dad's patience here was a token example to all fathers! She was relentless with her cries and he handled it like a pro. When she gently tugged on his head feathers and he would throw his head back I just had to laugh more. Finally at the 10:25 mark he said enough and flew off to get some peace and quiet or perhaps go fish. We definitely heard Harriet vocalizing and you got a nice view of her. The family is having a great time together here and we're all thrilled to see them like this, thank you Miss Vicki😍! Also a big thank you to the Pritchetts for restoring our live stream😍

It seems that the last one to leave always likes to spend time with dad. And the eye contact is so touching. Sadly we will be saying goodbye soon but what a beautiful memory we will always have. Females tend to stay a little longer, and by the size compared to M, it's pretty safe to assume she is a girl. I think it's pretty normal. She should leave soon, or Harriet will kick her out when she's ready to lay more eggs in Nov.
