Most excellent information, my good sir. Now do a video explaining how you communicate with a customer that did an inner webs search and think you should be able to install the fence for $3-$5 a ft. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

That's a better video for our Successful Contractor channel. I'll add it to the idea board though.

How do you identify boulders before digging?
@SWiFence3 жыл бұрын
Really just the experience of having done so many fences in our area and always looking for clues; there are certain areas of town that are known for rocky conditions. Sometimes it turns into a guess. Meanwhile we'll wait for ground-penetrating radar to develop an affordable solution. 😆

I love it "the socialism of the fence world" And as time is going on it will get more and more expensive. Blessings to you and your enterprise. I was up in Cody a few months ago for a wedding. A very beautiful place.

Hi there! I have been watching your videos and I find all the information you share very valuable. I was wondering if you could help me with a technical question. You see I've been encountering with the same issue in our installations. When it comes to large installations, let’s say, more than six panels in a straight line and you pick any post on the line, you can pull and push to create a wave movement along the entire fence. As far as i can tell, our Method are quite similar as it comes to install the post with concrete, measures and panels lengths, so I was wondering if you have encountered the same problem and what can you suggest to fix it. Please forgive my english by the way. Greetings From Panama!

Hey Vicente! I'm not sure I'm understanding your question. Are you saying the posts aren't set firmly in the ground and are allowing for push and pull?
@vicentealdrey20693 жыл бұрын
@@SWiFence well that's the case but as far I can tell they are fairly pushed into the ground and we also use concrete so why do the move? The movement itself is not pushing out the fence but you know... nobody likes the fence to move at all right?
@SWiFence3 жыл бұрын
You're right about that! Fence posts shouldn't move at all. 👍🏻 A couple questions to help me understand what's going on: 1. How tall are your posts? 2. How far into the ground are you setting them? 3. How wide are your posts? 4. How wide are your holes? 5. How much concrete are you putting in each hole? 6. What kind of posts are you using? I'm assuming this is vinyl?
@vicentealdrey20693 жыл бұрын
@@SWiFence I have all of this minus the amount of concrete and the width of the holes, I will contact my guys immediately and let you know the answers. In any case yes, it is vinyl and it is precisely the same model (visually at least) that you are showing in this video. Quick question, do you think it's possible to organize a training given by your team here in Panama? I'll be traveling to the US soon and we could coordinate something, it would be very helpful to have your support on this and i personally would consider it an honor to learn from you guys first handed

You probably don't have all the guy doing it out of the back of their truck for nothing like we do down here in South Texas. They don't have to have any contractors lic, insurance are anything sure makes it hard to compete And some many of the people have gotten so use to this way of life thats all they look for is cheap price. I lost a job to a guy over 30.00 i refused to come down any more and at the end of the day the guy took their money and left town. It's terrible down here!!!! That's why we spend as much time as we can in WY we are usually there 6-7 weeks a year in Yellowstone and Tetons area!!!!

I gotta say I’m surprised that y’all haul dirt from job site. It’s in our contract with the customer that all dirt is to remain on site. As with all fence companies in my area.

Builder wants a per foot cost no matter what? Ok I want them to build houses for me. Per square foot cost, no matter what. See how that flies with them.
@SWiFence3 жыл бұрын
Yes its a terrible idea. Too many variables. If they want to write a contract for 50 homes in a neighborhood you can figure a price per foot for that project but not if they want the same price for a year regardless.
