😮Glad that everyone is safe. An what a way to show those Terrorists that they failed
@bearpaw72Ай бұрын
The terrorists still succeeded because the shows were cancelled. The only way to prove that the terrorists failed is to allow the concerts in Vienna to go ahead, whether on the same dates or later.

@@bearpaw72 How about the fact that everyone is alive. How no one got hurt. How about that despite the negativity these fans are not letting anyone take away their right to celebrate. So yes they failed
@bearpaw72Ай бұрын
@@paigecosgrove654 The only reason nobody got hurt is because the would-be perpetrators were all arrested. If the terrorist plot were to remain on despite the arrests, the celebration on the streets would have only been attacked instead. And what exactly are these people celebrating? The concerts were still cancelled due to this threat. The terrorists won. Period. And the only way to truly hit back for me is to at least reschedule the concerts at a later date. I am scheduled to attend one of Taylor's concerts in Vancouver this December. It's one of the last three concerts of the tour. And if I would have suspected that any of the concerts would be cancelled due to security threats, I might have considered also buying a ticket for one of her shows in Toronto too and resell the Vancouver ticket should the Toronto show go on. I am from the Vancouver area, but now live in a town that is separated from the area by ferry. My sisters have concerns for my safety in the Vancouver downtown core because of all the homeless people, druggies, and other degenerates hanging around the area. But none of that has stopped me. Now absolutely, safety is the main concern - I don't deny that. But I do not want my planned experience at this upcoming concert to be tampered with either. And if I wanted to participate in some alternative sing-along instead, I wouldn't have bothered buying a ticket and i would have participated in something like this more locally. And I swear, if my concert is cancelled for any reason, I will personally make tickets for her next tour even harder to get initially - because I will buy tickets for three shows in three different cities to keep myself half-assured that at least one of the shows will still go on. And upon attending one of the concerts, the tickets for the latter concert(s) will be resold.

@@paigecosgrove654 Now since everyone is still alive, that means that they can live to see Taylor perform. So how about rescheduling the cancelled shows? - Geez, at least for the sake of the children that are not yet mature enough to understand.

Swifties are great and Taylor is clearly more concerned about her fans than any of the trolls in these posts.. Taylor is an awesome artist and great person.. and ultimately you can blame the right wing and the confederacy of warmongering and smog.. and she's already endorsed Kamala

They were complaining they lost a lot of money, but which is more important and replaceable, money or life?
@bearpaw72Ай бұрын
The shows should have went on, and money is not the issue. For one, the attacks were thwarted but cancelling the concerts allowed the terrorists to win. This allowed what should have been an experience of a lifetime for some to be reduced to a gathering that could have just as well taken place in Muskogee. And supposing that somebody else would have resumed the terror plot on one of the concerts anyway, this gathering that was held in consolation would have been attacked instead because of the fact that it was a crowded gathering. And I, for one, refuse to adjust my lifestyle just for the sake of coexisting with people who refuse to share in our values.

If that's the way we're supposed to look at it, then the concerts had better go back on - whether they take place now or at a later date, just keep them on. Because if keeping the shows on would have made them too susceptible to that planned attack, then the alternative gathering would have been attacked instead. Because remember this - not only are the terrorists going to win if we cancel gigs every time a threat takes place, there's also going to be no gigs like this left to look forward to as people are going to become exasperated. I am saying this because I am set to attend one of the last three shows of the Eras Tour in Vancouver in December. I live in Sechelt, a small municipality in a region of British Columbia that is safely secluded from the calamity taking place in Greater Vancouver due to the fact that my region can only be accessed by ferry. And my folks do have concerns for my safety going through that hive of degenerates just to enjoy a night out to see T-Swizzle. My biggest concern up to now was that due to the fact that my concert is in December, I could catch a cold with the concert around the corner. But I am not letting any rubby dubs or cold force me to stay home and miss the last chance to have this experience of a lifetime. And if I would have known that cancelling the Vienna concerts were going to be the response to some terror plot, I might have exercised the option of buying an additional resale ticket for one of the dates in Toronto. And if the shows in Toronto were to be a go-ahead, I would have sold the Vancouver ticket after the Toronto show. And if the Toronto show were cancelled for that reason, then I still have the Vancouver show. Swifties - be ready. Because of what happened in Vienna, I had just exposed an idea in this comment that's going to make getting tickets to Taylor's next tour even harder to get. Sorry.

Can we take a minute to appreciate the way these fans dealt with this disappointment. What would this look like if the exact same scenario happened for people prepared to go to the Super Bowl? I don’t think they would join hands and make friends in the street swapping football cards. The city would be on fire no doubt!

Many Swifties were complaining about the cancellation of the concert even though they had already been told that the reason was due to a terrorist threat. 😐😐😐
