I have fished for halibut in san diego and mexico for like 7 years and i have only gotten ONE tin y halibut on a swimbait.i was trolling it from behind ..

What I can't find is solid white or ringed body solid white.even on the Internet is scarce.where are you finding yours?

@@Chrissurf ive gotten them at tackle shops mostly. Anything white and 4-5 inches is great! I like the zman diezel minnowz because they last me through a lot of fish. The brand doesnt matter much, just the general profile of the lure and color, then pair it with a jig head that you can feel bouncing on the bottom. I typically fish ~40-60 feet deep and 1oz works for me but may vary depending on conditions
