thoughtful stuff, thanks. probably has a part in why, when I’m breathing on my left (every second length) it doesn’t feel or seem as smooth and quite t same speed as on my right. always some part of t technique to work on!

Excellent video. I have the same problem as shown in the video. Much slower on my breathing stoke than non-breathing stroke. I will definitely try your suggestion. Your video is best that I have seen to offer clear solution. Can’t wait to try it in the pool tomorrow. Thanks.

Definitely what's hurting me. I think I'm thinking about not stalling out on the lead hand during the breath. Guess I need to wait a sub-second longer and maybe drive a slight bit more with the leading arm. Thanks for the video.

Fascinating! I’ve never heard a coach breakdown the issue with the catch like this. Could it also be an issue of rotation? Looks like catch up drill might help?

I like the catch up drill, some don't, but it has to be done well.

I was wondering if the goal is to move forward, can the swimmer work on his stroke timing first before focusing on the catch? From looking at his stroke, the kick is firing way too early before the arm drive to its target. If the goal is efficiency and reduction of drag then focusing on the catch might be jumping ahead from stroke timing. Any thoughts?

the back end is balancing the odd front end. If you cure the front end the balance will change, then it may be worth considering changing the back end IMO. Cheers
