You have the best tutorials on YT. I've watched a bunch. A lot of them show 10 seconds of video and then lecture for 10 minutes. It seems to me they love to show their faces on YT rather than showing the real swimming. You do a great job.

I can swim a bit but my techniques aren't polished at all and I can swim only half a breadth. Still working on my breathing and arm stroke. This channel is going to b so helpful for me i am sure bcz I have taught myself so far only through videos. So glad I landed on this channel today.

Your videos are awesome 👌. Keep up the good work. What has help me is not to do many kicks as I do the freestyle. I was swimming today and it works. It has helped me so much by following your example as I kick on doing the freestyle. I was not as tried and I enjoy doing the freestyle even more now. If you could please do videos on the breaststroke that will also help me as well and others. Keep up the great work, God Bless.

@SwimUp4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! Try to rotate your upper body to the side when breathing. So when you turn your head for breathing, you also turn your shoulder and upper body to the side. This should improve your breathing technique. You can check our video "How to swim faster". In that video I teach how to do body rotation.

Your instructions are very helpful. Thanks for posting. I have been swimming my whole life and was even on the swim team in high school. But I was always held back because of my breathing. I try to exhale in the water but always end up exhaling and inhaling when I turn my head to breathe. It doesn’t feel right or as though I’m getting a real breathe if I exhale in water only. Will this get easier with practice? Your other tips Are great and very helpful. It’s like having my own swim coach.

👋 Hi Evgeny, The timing of your kick is amazing. It seems to be the key to everything in giving your arm pull efficient power and rotational energy. How can I achieve your perfect timing?
@SwimUp4 жыл бұрын
Hello Don, try to focus on performing kick while doing an arm stroke (right arm stroke + right kick). For each swimmer there is individual timing. Try swimming with different kicking rhythms and start doing the most comfortable for you!
