1. Including your team in the video, the roles each of them have and what's the criteria for you to have them close to you. 2. Mindset, how you developed to be mentally strong. Also, how you deal with critique. 3. Training/recovery ratio, how do you know when to push and when to back off? Personally I love when athletes tell how many sacrifices they make to achieve their goals, so it shows us what it takes to be the best!

First, I'd just like to say that I love watching these videos! Congrats on amazing content!! I think an interesting video would be on the challenges of the different courses that you raced, and the different preps you had to take to adapt to those different courses. Another interesting one would be on your opinion on your different oponents, and what their individual strengths are and what you do to try and beat them ☺️

Thank you for sharing your time with us!! These shots are incredible... Being an inspiration for a lot of us, and especially for a lot of girls and women, a cool video would be a motivational video, one that promotes strength, resilience, determination, courage, but also elegance, femininity, grace...pretty much all that you embody :-) A video that can be watched in 10 years time and still give you goosebumps from how freaking amazing and powerful it is. Yeah, that would be cool. Cheers!

What do you strive to achieve when you are at the top? Another video that would be interesting to see would be you and Reece doing sports that aren't swim/bike/run- attempt to play football, basketball, rowing, etc. (but please don't injure yourself!). Your sister should do a "Day in the Life" video of all the behind-the-scenes creative work she does for your social media!

Awesome video Lucy !! You are so inspiring !!! I think a great idea for a another video would be something to do with how during off season you stay in the right mind set and how you keep motivated. As well as how important it is to stay healthy and some main sessions (stretching and strengthening ) that you do to prevent injury during off season. Another idea that could be apart of it is maybe a video that has nothing to do with your training but rather your personal life (vacation or day trips) It would be nice to see you and Reece and your family doing something fun during off season.
@robertlee30023 жыл бұрын
Love all the content you put out! However, I would really like to know about how you approach recovery, 'pre-hab', and balancing training around illness. These, at least for me, are some of the hardest things about triathlon training, as it's way more of an art than a science, and is less readily talked about that things like structured training approaches. I would love to know how a pro who needs to keep so on top of these areas makes sure their training is derailed as little as possible. E.g. supplements you take, and when; when you know how to reduce volume because of illness, or rest altogether; if you feel an injury or niggle, what do you do to limit and then overcome it? To what extent do warm-up routines feature in your programmes, and what do these look like? It may be boring for some, but I really feel insight in these areas would benefit so many budding and experienced triathletes! Thank you and hope you're enjoying off-season!

Congratulations Lucy for a fabulous 2021! I would like to see a video focused on both yours and Reece's progression of the position on the TT bike over winter. This is so inspiring! Also, I appreciated this video so much because female athletes get such a label of being just more masculine and low maintenance (not in a good way). This just shows that we can be girly and looks cute and like fashion etc. I also appreciate how you don't just wear athletic and atleasure clothes all the time but put some thought and self love into your appearance. Something all of us should strive for.

Great videos Lucy and Reece! We here in NYC would be very interested in hearing about how you train for the psychological piece of competing and all that goes into your plan with that: e.g., how you navigate internal voices of doubt/self criticism (particularly when they come up in the race), the role Reece plays for you psychologically in your training/competing, visualization/mantras, past experiences with sports psychologists, etc, and how you think about mental health training in addition to Swim, Bike, Run, Nutrition. We in NYC would love to hear about it! Thanks so much for all your inspiring videos! Warmly, Adam and Rachel
