Will this work with Superswing trainer or better off using the PrGR they have on site?This one seem to work with wedges where the PRGR does not register

I have the SC 200 (not plus). I think it's a useful tool but it's got a few shortcomings: 1) per the owners manual it only measures Carry. There is no measure for total yards with run-out. 2) There is no way to edit out the miss-hits from a practice session so unless you strike the ball well 100% of the time the averages could be way off. 3) It misreads Carry distance on bad miss-hits. A worm burning Driver 10 feet off the ground will show the same Carry as a well struck ball with a good launch angle. I suspect this is indicative of weak analytics in the device. It probably only reads club head speed and then interpolates from the loft the user enters how far the ball carried, the smash factor, and the ball speed; all of which could be way off. Does the Plus model address these issues?

I'm a couple years behind the times here but I only really got into golf in a semi serious way last year. This off season I am training and practicing to improve my game and as a part of that, I purchased this launch monitor. I noticed that you had it set up both behind you and facing you, which do you think is best when in practice mode and working only on swing speed (not hitting balls)?

The plus adds a swing club speed, where you don't have to hit a ball and it'll give you your club speed. I know there's a few game or challenge options as well, not sure if those were in the original or not.

I got mine used for under $100 on Poshmark. I got the 100 for the same on eBay, I sold the 100. I love the 200, I use it quite a bit at the range.

We would love to see you test this thing against your Skytrak. No test of these type of monitors is complete unless the data is compared to something that is known to be very accurate, like Skytrak, GC2, Trackman, et. al. We don't expect it will be as good, but would be nice to see how close.

So far, only used it for ghost swings and practice balls. It seems *WILDLY* inaccurate. Like my swing speed on top tracer was 87-92mph with my driver, and it's in the low 40's on the SC200+. Ghost swings it spits out carry distance, ball speed and smash factor. Even though there was no ball there to hit. I hit a foam practice ball 67 yards with my 5 iron, it said I hit it 122. Hit another one with my 3 wood that went 93, it said 44 yards. I've already made arrangements with my instructor to compare it to his flight scope at my next lesson in a few days. It might be going back to the store.

Has Swing Caddie ever published how these work? Example: I have the SC100 which will give me ball speed, swing speed, smash factor and carry. The carry is calculated apparently by the swing speed and ball speed against the programmed loft of the club. Yet I can hit a driver into the dirt at the front of the net and will show a club speed of 90 (I don't question that) and a smash factor of 1.45 (okay so I hit it solid because..) the ball speed is 139.5. Yet it shows a carry of 215+ (obviously based on the speeds and programmed loft -- so it doesn't measure the angle at which the ball left the club, correct? I don't mind this necessarily as long as the manufacturer affirms that actual launch angle does not calculate into the results. Literally, it would affirm that what I see is as a crappy shot into the net is in fact a crappy shot and not actually going 220+ yards.

I have the SC300. I’m not sure what happened but it is totally off. I doesn’t pick up but about 10% of the shots in each practice session. The distance is way off. I called the customer service line and left 4 messages. I sent 2 emails to the customer service email address on there webb address. I haven’t received any response. I bought it through your link about a year ago. I guess I am just out 500.

Make sure it's updated. I don't have apple products, used mine on a friend's ipad and as soon as it linked it said there was a software update. More of a negative on their samsung app than the monitor. Maybe that's what's going on? Good luck figuring it out.

just got back from trying at range, Compared with the teaching pro at the range and his professional unit. Nothing was close, worst was swing speed, killing by self SC200 would not go above 89 MPH when his unit said 106. My average on the SC200 was about 84 MPH with driver, 95 in professional Monitor. Carry was off by about 15 yards on solid hits, and bad hits a little more. I guess I can use it to work on swing speed at home just know that when it says 84 it is really closer to 95 MPH, So I will have a goal of getting the SC200 to read 90 MPH to get my 100 MPH goal on course?

I really like his reviews. I am curious to what you think about it. I just returned it. Someone called it a "random number generator" and I'd have to agree. Maybe I had a bad one. The "Approach Mode" especially stinks. The targeted range would be 50 yards, I'd use my sand wedge, hit between 55-60 yards and the results would be 90-100 yards. Happened in "Practice Mode" as well. I'm not hitting into a net. I have marked distances out to 120 yards and this thing is wrong, wrong, wrong. I've taken it to the range for longer distances. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Like I said, maybe I got a lemon.

My local range is level for about 30 yards. Then it drops down into a canyon. So it reads the level ball flight for 30 yards FOR ALL CLUBS. 👎🏼

This thing duplicate s smart phone funcionality. Just Have the monitor unit Send the data to the smartphone (and supply an app) this sholuld cut the cost greatly.
