Lainey, I’ve been watching your travel videos for a while now and had no idea that you were a swing dancer. I’ve also been watching a lot of swing dance videos over the last couple of years after seeing a group of people swing dancing in San Sebastian, Spain. I had no idea that people were still doing this type of dancing. I was in Washington DC last year while the ILHC was going on but I had no idea until I got home and realized I missed it. Had I known 25 years ago that people were still doing this I’d probably be doing it as well. I guess I was hanging out with the wrong crowd.

Thanks for watching my travel videos! Swing dancing makes the world feel smaller (in a good way). It's really cool that you saw dancers in San Sebastian. There's a whole world of swing dancers in most major cities. Usually if you Google "Lindy Hop (insert city name here)" you'll find good options. You have to use "lindy hop" instead of "Swing dance" because the term "swing dance" is too broad. I hope we can meet in person one day! It's never too late to start dancing.

Ann Johnson (not Ann Mills) is credited with performing the first Lindy Hop airstep with Frankie Manning. Anne Mills is a well know Southern California original Balboa dancer.

Ah, our mistake! Thank you for clarifying. In our rush to prepare, we forgot to check all of our facts.
