A truly underrated jewel. This movie is just so good. The scene of Peter dancing alone and trying to not cry and fall apart, really breaks me everytime I see it.😢

I agree. They should have done a sequel to this movie, beginning with Peter's mother receiving the news that Peter was arrested and how the other HJ/ swing kids survived or didn't survive the war. I think that it would have been very interesting. Would Peter's mother have had a change of opinion of the Nazis as the war progressed?

I don't remember if it was Robert or Christian that tell a story of one of them dress as Nazi Young and drinking coffe during a break and they were at a window and they look outside and they see an old lady frozen in fear watching them from outside.... They both started to cry right then and there, because they knew of what the Nazi did of course, but seing this lady frozen in fear was too much. (sorry but english it's not my lenguage)

Oh, I actually heard something similar on Ralph Fiennes about the filming of Schindler's List. It said that he played so well his part that one of the character who really survived the war started shaking in fear when she saw him
