Great videos Jared, good point about scalability, but we should mention that scalability is not a problem with futures even if we are talking about making millions of dollars in daily profits but yes when trading shares scalability is limited. Bennett Ned Ma’am lm gonna be honest with you. I’m no where even close to to having that much to invest. I have at the moment $160. I know, I need between $5000 to $10,000 to even scratch the surface. But I love Jared’s videos. They’re really informative, and I totally dig the old school tough love he dishes out. But I am trying to work on building my account. I blew it twice before to my shame, because I got cocky, and thought I finally discovered the secret to the market. Now I’m seriously buckling down, and trying to take it step by step. My wife and I both watched his wealth building strategy. I ate the whole thing up. But my wife, being the more logical one pointed out that I don’t make even close to $60,000 even with overtime. I thought she was right, but we could kind of manipulate it hopefully with $48,000. I don’t know. I’m mainly interested in forex and options, but I’m using stock trading- specifically penny stocks, if you will as a means to an end. It means a lot that you reached out, and showed interest. Thank you. Well, that’s what’s up. I know the numbers don’t sound impressive, but I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel somewhere. 42 years old, behind on bills and payments with kids. Something’s gotta give right? I apologize for telling my life’s story. I’ll shut up, now. Thank you for your time anyway.

You know what I love about this Jared. I have always been a Swing Trader.. and i been listening to you for a while thinking maybe I should become an actual day trader.. now ive never been more comfortable. The best part that I think you missed on this whole discussion, with swing trading you can force yourself if you are prepared to do the work to find the strong sharp ratios to go with the swing trade of your choice. Eg the right combo of small cap with large cap, and bonds etc for removing some of the big jilt. I cant believe you give this info away for free. It does look like junk. I don't care what analysts say...or news, or media, or the CEO or Jim Cramer. I did a video on this topics 2-3weeks ago...Check it out. Wall Street doesn't care about you. The fact that you think they do is why they do so well selling their crappy services and products to people. Follow the charts...and the chart doesn't look good. That doesn't mean it won't go higher...it just means there's NO edge that I can see that would make me want to put my hard earned money into it. Every person/trader has to do what they think is best. @@andresblandon8529 I will also say that you have to have a passion for the market in order to be successful in this way. Try sticking to stocks you have interest in, for me it’s mainly tech stock, and I know none of my big plays were in that category, but that has more to do with opportunities covid provided than underperformance in that area. It’s important to be knowledgeable in the area of economics your trading in so if you like tech you will naturally know more about it because your more likely to read articles and such within that. Other things you should look into: the value of compounding interest, good vs risky dividend rates, how to read a candlestick chart (on this channel), economic profit incentive, and the relationship between the market and stock buy backs. On Netflix, there is a series titled, “explained” the episode on the stock market and the one on billionaires is great for understanding liquidity of money.

Jared as always speaking truth. Most people don't consider that costs and contingencies are the highest on the lower time frames. Many tickers are not even worth trading on lower time frames, such as FX and penny stocks. Due to this mechanism, most longer term, larger trades are definitively better than day trades, although the overall system might make less of a return due to frequency. You hear a lot of the same basic information repeated in this industry, so it is always refreshing to see Jared shine light on ideas that are not as commonly talked about.

Diagram @ 47:36 - If somebody can explain this: A) $17 stop is there in case price of an asset drops, to cut a loss of $19.50 long entry. Risk seems to be referring to how much trader is investing into a position. B) Calculations on the left: wouldn't share price be the starting point & dictate other calculations? It seems share price is calculated based on difference between trader chosen entry & stop figures. C) Position cost calculation: I see that 780/40 & 7800/400 gives 19.50, but why?

I don't know if you saw NVDA but I had that stock days before it took off ,I was down a little and decided to get out at about break even then it went up $25 or more in a few days,it may go higher. This is a great video.... As a "working from home guy" I'm not suckered into get rich quick plays. I love your honesty and integrity. The hardest think for me is the stop loss. It hit today. Instead of being mad about losing money, I'm really proud of myself for not doubling down. I lost. Move on. That's the hardest thing.....Lose 1R, cut loss....stop looking at chart and move on to next trade. Until you can do that, no matter what you say doesn't matter. Manage the loses is more important than running the gains. I'm leaning towards gap trades now for daily, and i love the FINVIZ idea for swing. And the way you married them was perfect. Last yr trading was -90R. This yr since april, 140R.... I watch a ton of videos....If you are a new guy working at home, you should watch 2-3 hours a day of videos on how to trade. Turn off CNBC. The youtube guys give out so much more information as to how to trade. Constantly watch vidoes from all sources. Don't get caught up in Bull vs Bear. Take both sides. equal positions, in this market, One will win much bigger than the other. Trade with friends like you. Newcomers. And experienced guys. One class wont teach anything. Paper trade is great. even it its your own notes. Learing watching is one thing, execution is totally different. Once you hit that Buy (or Sell) button, anxiety kicks in big time. Swing trade, goes down no problem . Swing is not on margin. Day trade, you better have a tight stop loss. 1R 1% of account value. cut it... If you can't do that, you can not be a day trader. Subscribed and liked....You are pretty awesome !!!

Which is better, a Ferrari or a Land Rover? It depends on the conditions which you will be driving through. Similarly swing trading and day trading depending on the conditions. Day trade when day trading conditions are suitable, and swing trade when conditions are suitable.

I just want to say that I started swing trading as a hobby with no interest of day trading. As I became more advanced as a trader In general, like identifying entries and exists etc. it became easier to day trade💁🏻‍♂️

Cameron Scott Imo from my own personal exp. it was the best way for ME to start trading stocks. I agree you can’t always follow someone else’s strategy. I found it comfortable for ME this way, with MY OWN capital(no options,options can come later once you learn the ropes-imo)this way I have a long horizon incase it turns south(in my case I love to DCA)and have no prob waiting to turn profit. Without bragging I can say I now double my income to where if I wanted to I could quit my day job and day trade full time🙏🏼.Note* It took 9 yrs to get to where I’m at tho😂. 8yrs swing trading(*learning)I call it part time. 1yr day trading(full time, everyday)

I would like to note that, especially in Swing should emphasize the need for understanding the market cycle by 4 stages. So, do not enter Long position in stage 4 as do not short in stage 2. For stages 1 and 3 you have to wait.

Yes it can be important...but for me, a pattern is a pattern and it's rare I find 3 perfect patterns in the same sector...so my sector exposure is never 'that' bad. yes, market cycles are important...but I can only talk about so much stuff in 1 hour, lol. Cheers!

Swinger here. Occasionally a day trader. Got lucky 🍀 on swinging. PLTR jumped in @ $20 within a week it popped $32 Out I went. BNGO twice in 2 weeks. In @ $5.33 out @ $9. In @ $8.88 out @ $12. My mistakes are when I double dip. I won’t do that again. 😂👍

ive been trading options for 6+ years. big money little down. and so reading charts and set-ups has been something I've been learning passively for 6+ years. I believe, if one see's the setup, invests and sets a stop loss, than money can be made as an intraday trader. for this to all work it relies on one discipline, if the setup doesn't go your way next candle, than sell. key scanning property is Volume. trade early morning. it shouldn't be about making making money, it should be about being correct.

The pdt rule only applys to margin accounts.. You can trade as much as you want with cash accounts, just be aware you can only use the money after t +2. And you can get around the pdt rule buy skimpily day trading through different brokers.
