Given how big screens are nowadays I still prefer the buttons. They disappear during full screen videos so they're not really obtrusive at all. And swiping is slower than clicking a button, so I never really got why people switched...

In my phone to I have this setting but the change is in bottom left shot cut center bottom right back gesture and another on intresting I can come back with swiping from sideways too. Totaly 3positions to come back. I like this gesture settings more than any other

The back button is the most important to me. The ability to swipe from any side is just very convenient for me, I don't want to bend my thumb all the way down there all the time since current phones are much bigger and longer than it used to be

I do!! It's a lot easier than the swiping from the sides, especially with a curved screen like on my Note 10+ imo. It saves the space and from accidentally pressing the buttons.

There's actually another one you missed where you swipe to bring the buttons up and then they auto hide after so long of not touching the screen. And to be honest I think most samsung users use the same ones your using because its the most easiest to switch over to when switching from the buttons to the gestures. Honestly I only started using gestures when I got my Samsung. When I had a motorola moto z4 thru the moto z play original I never used the gestures but that phone had a totally different weird set of gestures like flicking the phone to turn on the flash light which I absolutely loved and twisting to activate the camera.

I much prefer the normal gestures setting and it's for one thing that I've always found an inconvenience, being having to reach all the way down to press back which is used alot more than the home button. This is fine in a couple of cases, but it's quite a hassle in alot more cases depending on what ur doing at that moment. (especially annoying when using one hand) With the gestures' style, I can go back easily by going to anywhere on the side of my screen, which is where my thumb stays when in standby mode. In addition to this it only makes u have 2 points to travel to that serves 3 purposes total (or more like google assistant).

Don't use the buttons on the bottom! That's how easy you can get screen burn in. Use always gestures. We need an update to also hide the top notifications, like the battery, WiFi, etc icons. Make sure you Never use buttons.

The three swipe bars was the only option on OneUI 1.0 when I got it on my old Note8, it was their answer to Apple's new swipe bar on the iPhone X. I absolutely hated it and continued using the three button layout.
