the disparity of options is very jarring. read an account of a guy who swiped right on every single person and capped out on his 100 swipes a day, did that every day for 2 months for ~6000 swipes to get maybe 60 matches. of those 60, maybe talked to about 20 and ended up meeting up with about 6. that's a match rate of 1% and IRL engagement of 0.1% lol. then you hear of girls being able to get like 50-100 matches in an hour or something. pretty crazy. women have a LOT of choice in online dating, it is what it is but I hope women realise how much choice they have at their fingertips it's really quite ridiculous lol.

also, didn't sit through the whole thing but it looks like you matched with like, a dozen or so people? probably more and that's in the span of like 20 minutes with you swiping left like almost 100% of the time lol. which if you average it out is 30-36 matches in an hour which is absolutely insane. that means in like an hour swiping left most of the time you can get like the same amount of matches a guy would take about a month to get if he swiped right 100% of the time and maxed out on swipes every day. in regards to the picky thing, it just comes down to realising how much choice you really have compared to most men, like you have a LOT of choice. it's going to come down to just learning to be happy with what you have. like, if you're always thinking about "could I do better, there's probably a better option out there" you'll probably never be happy. its more about learning to be happy with who you've got rather than always wondering about if you got with the right one. when you have so many options you're always going to wonder if you've made a good choice, it's proven when you have less choices you're usually happier with the choice you make. the more and more you have the more you question whether or not you're making a good choice.
