I know I am really late on this, but I just watched this video. I have that same mold for Micheal's and/or Hobby Lobby. I usually line mine with freezer paper when doing melt and pour to eliminate the texture issues. I love your videos and I hope this helps. Keep soaping and producing beautiful products.

Soap turned out awesome! Hope you are feeling better and I bet Gabe loved it!!! The way I mix my colorants for M&P soap is to mix the colorants with rubbing alcohol. I watched a video by 805soap and on her video named #114, she explains how to do it. Also, when you use the rubbing alcohol method, you are not introducing additional glycerin into the base, which makes it sweat more, the alcohol just evaporates. Hope this helps next time and have a Very Happy New Year!!!!!

+Nancy Franklin That is an awesome tip! Thank you so much for sharing, I would have surly never thought to try that, but I'm going to now! Those swirls came out really well I bet he'll really like them. I tried that swirling technique in melt and pour but I must have poured at the wrong temperature because it didn't turn out as great as yours haha I think I found your channel back in spring of this year, it has been so amazing watching your videos and I'm always excited every week to see what soap you've made. Thank you for a year full of videos and all of your beautiful soaps!

could you tell me where you get those containers that have the long spout your vedeo was arsum hope you get to feeling better I have the junk too
@RoyalAppleBerry8 жыл бұрын
Hi doll! Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed my little soaping adventure and thanks so much for the well wishes, I feel loads better now. The clear log spout container came from Rustic Escentuals, and the molds came from an etsy seller, but honestly, they're not really nice for soaping, in my opinion. if you have a Michaels craft store in your area, and you really want them, they can be purchased there or most crafts stores really. I hope this helps, and once again thank you so much for watching! if you haven't subscribed to my channel already, I hope you'd like to. Have an awesome day love!

+BL Meyer When I read this, I slapped myself in the head...I don't know why it had never crossed my mind to buy a handheld soap cutter. Yes indeed honey, Of course my fav is Rustic Escentuals. Their colors are always tried and true. Next is TKB Trading, they have such a large variety of colorants for soaps, and their prices are awesome. Then there's Mad oils, I love their colorants, and the shipping cost is great! Hope this is helpful doll. Happy soaping!

What's the difference between cold process and "regular" process soaps.I noticed on Etsy that the listings mention that the soap is cold process. Also, is there a difference in the quality of M n P soap? Can I add fruit juices etc to M n P?? If you can't tell, I REALLY TRUST YOUR OPINION! I relate so well to you because we have the same demeanor - Lord help both of us!! LoL. Pls get BK to me at your earliest convenience. BTW In realizing that this video is from December and it's now Feb, I don't know if u get notifications of comments from older videos you've posted. (Sorry, I'm trying not to ramble.) That being said, I'm going to see if there are other ways to reach you. I'm new to this contacting ppl who post the videos. I usual just watch, categorize, and at this point try to figure out what the $&## I'm going to do. I get so excited by all of the different info. ...rambling again 😂. Posting now, copying, and then trying to find somewhere else to paste that might get this note to U more efficiently! HOPE to hear from you soon.( I say HOPE, cuz I HOPE U get this msg) I'm going for real this time 😂 God bless you! Angelique

Line your plastic mold with parchment paper or a silicone mold & that should get rid of the ugly effect it has on the sides of your soap.

Omg, the marble look is outstanding. Try pushing it up against something hard while you cut. And use a krickle cutter ( spell?). It hides your ummm cutting challenges lol. I think I'm worse!
