My big takeaway is that this is FINALLY the transitional season where we have begun to see the end of the LeBron-KD-Steph era of domination. They’re all still playing at the highest level but their influence on winning has lessened due to the rise of stars throughout the league, and more competition at the top.

Steph & KD still performing great. 🤔 There's no clear no1 player in the league as each is great in their own league. Curry, Giannis, Doncic, Jokic, Tatum, KD. We'll see in the playoffs but I'm sure the warriors and nets can put up a decent fight. Maybe even the lakers. xD

Proven this yr: Russ was never "washed" he struggled to fit in a system with another ball dominant facilitator, had no floor spacing, and he's team dealt with injuries which shifted lineups. This yr now that he's mins r more staggered with Brons and him and AD have built more chemistry esp with AD at the 5 u can clear see how much of an impact full player he really is. Still a bad contract and stuff but he's not washed and out the league next yr

@@3rr1k_ not weird, most thunder fans expected this. It’s weird how people expected OKC to be a tanking team. We had ench our entire team at the end of last year. In games Shai has played the past few seasons, OKC is over .500. Thunder are definitely winning a title in 2-3 years.
@OKCoolRancher
@OKCoolRancher Жыл бұрын
I don't think they are tanking by definition. They aren't losing games on purpose, I think they are the youngest team in the NBA and playing those young guys to develop them as much as they can when wins and losses don't matter as much. Playing really young undeveloped players leads to losses.

The Lakers and the Nets have been very good lately. They had to lose first, so they can feel what losing means especially after all the superstars trades they had going on, but I believe at the end of the season both teams will be major threats for the title. Also is the Heat back? Prior to the Celtics loss, they had a 4-game win streak and now they beat the best team in the nba. Bam needs to keep the same attitude on offense in order the Heat to go as far as winning the title Please show more to the Bucks. What they did without the second best player was great. If Brook is used more offensively now that Khris is back, they will be truly the best team in the nba

A big takeaway is that the NBA has been more competitive this season than it has been in a long time. You can make arguments for so many teams to win a title this year. The Celtics are on a tear, the Bucks have Giannis playing out of his mind, the Warriors have the same core they just won a title last season with, the Suns and Nuggets are looking scary. Even teams like the Nets, Sixers, Cavs, Grizzlies, Pelicans, and Hawks could all make deep playoff runs. It's been a while since there have been more than 2 or 3 teams from each conference make serious cases for a title run.

I understand what you mean by win win for the pacers and kings. But the issue is Haliburton getting traded instead of fox. Fox has the usage rate of superstars and isn't a superstar while Haliburton doesn't have that usage rate. He's younger, less expensive, and would be able to play enough off ball if they were to ever get a true #1. I like fox, but he's not a true 1. He could change his game or adapt, but if not then they are going to be stuck. With tyrese you practically would be in a similar current position but future could be much brighter.

You are forgetting the guy that’s averaging 31 points that had a bad game😂 the Heat got lucky JT took an off night. Still cooked lowkey

@@ethanpellegren9562 nah Miami just had more than 2 good defenders on the floor with Jimmy back. NBA better PRAY Miami doesn’t find a rim protecting stretch 5 to play with Bam and Jimmy. CLAMPS.

@@Kosher93 they didn’t “rig” the game. Y’all always overuse that term. Bad calls doesn’t automatically means it’s rigged

My takeaway: underrated passing big men are so fun to watch. Examples being Wendell Carter Jr and Alpheren Sengun who don’t get enough credit for their passing ability.

Steven Adams? First and only player since Chuck to get a certain number of offensive boards and assists last season. And he’s on track to beat Chuck’s record this season!

My takeaway is that the thunder need to develop more and start trading those picks. Chet won’t be enough. Shai is clearly ready to win and drafting more 19 year olds won’t help. Make a trade, use the high pick you’ll have this year and sign 1 or 2 more vets.

As a pistons fan Ivey is good but still has some kinks that need to be ironed out. Too many turnovers and gets lost on defense sometimes

The Utah Jazz prove sometimes your best player in sticking to a system it's based around your best players can hinder a whole team considering I'm not saying they're going to stay the top seed but it shows the potential you can waste during that time of trying to make things work

Paolo has looked great as expected. His role was always going to different than Jabari's. Paolo wouldn't be running the offense in Houston. And even a week later and Jabari is looking like a different player already. Plus his defense and rebounding are solid. Looking forward to the comparison at the end of the year.
