I used a brillow pad attatched to my steak knife and a clothes peg for the cdc. Saved $100 😊

Wow! What will they think of next. A very pricey handle for a dremel brush tip.

@@FlyFishFood With a Dremel and an abrasive disk and a small piece of sheet metal you can easily make a hackle folder like that. An ordinary hair comb will clean out a bunch of deer hair just fine. An ordinary toothbrush with the bristles cut down a bit works well for the other function of this laughably over priced gadget. Easterbrook paper clamps from Staples or Office Max come in a variety of sizes and do a good job of grabbing CDC fibers for a dubbing loop.

Try a Dremel brush Cheech I'm almost 90% it will fit. Looks like I'm not the only one that immediately thought that's just a Dremel type wire brush..

If it is 1/8 in at the shaft, A dremel brush will fit.

Yes, as soon as he took the wire brush out of the tool I said that's a wire brush for a dremel tool, I even went to my work shop and got mine and yup it's identical.

I made a perfect cdc tool clamp out of the spring type paper clips with a strip of fly tying foam glued to each jaw. Works great and cost less than five cents. Pettijean wants about $30.00 for his plastic one. Dubbing loops and twisters are a waste of time. Flatten and split the thread I’m tying the fly with using a needle, insert clamped cdc, retwist thread and done. Gimmicks sure cost a lot of money. What a joke.

You seem pretty upset about it. Sorry to make you mad pard.
@MarcTelesha2 жыл бұрын
Dude tools are the same across everything. You pay for convince and for a name. I like the loop tool ALOT and the clip is expensive but it makes spinning fur and hair super easy. Can't split thread for that. I'm not buying this tool but don't pee on other people's parade.
