I love how you scrape everything out of the bowl. I hate those cooking shows where they take a couple of swipes & leave a lot in the bowl. Also, you have very nice arms.

Is your oven fan assisted that's why the baking temperatures are too low? Even at 150 degrees?

Thank you chef. 😭 my landlord's EuroArt oven has got no top bottom heat without fan function. It has Fan Mode, Bottom Fan, Grill. I guess her oven is more for Rotisserie.

If I want to assembly with fresh cream? Should it kit it cool in fridge for 2hrs 1st or I need to roll up while it warm and waited it cool completely in room temperature only I put on the fresh cream? Pls advice

You can put cream, jam, any thing you want with your imagination, that is the easy part. First try to mastered the cake, that is the difficult part.

If you are using my recipe, the baking mode is top and bottom heating elements without fan.

hi Michael, i tried your recipe today and the cake looks wonderful, except for the pattern. it seems to be sticking to the baking paper when i roll the cake. can you tell me what did i do wrong? thanks

Hi Rita, make sure is completely cool down and dry to the touch before turning upside down. You can also try to bake it a few minutes longer, but keep an eye on it.
