Man I went down the rabbit hole of KZbin machining channels from Abom79 and 4 hours later showed up here. Man this stuff fascinates me to no end. The only machining experience I have is making a metal hammer in machine shop 45 years ago. Who ever said this was engineering porn is right on! The machining must be incredible but then I start to think of thermal changes and what has to be done to compensate...Crap here goes another rabbit hole. I have to learn about thermal dynamics now.

You ain't kidding. My trip was a bit shorter. I was walking down the proverbial street of about three laser cutting machine videos then, i looked up and, here i am.

When I was first taught lath work they all said don't turn the part around until it is finished. If it did not part cleanly then just face the back side.

Like the other business, but for 3D Printers. And using old units or what I seen called "standard" for hand tools at least.

The name "Swissomation" alone tells you it's American. The Swiss wouldn't be so crass and they already have enough cheese.

Don't understand why you want to use different methods of measurement and confirm that with the customer. 5 thousandths is 5 thousandths....
@partgurus3 жыл бұрын
The tolerance is so small the customer does not have the tools to check measurements... yes that actually happens!
