Thanks so much for taking the time to make this in-depth tutorial. I'm about to tackle the clutch/basket on my 2006 749, and I'll have this video by my side as I go. Wish me luck! 😂

Thank you. I hope this video helps... but yes, the clutches are the same. Just be careful with the torque on the clutch spring retaining bolts. You can even just nip them up and then give them a quarter turn... the threads can easily strip if over tightened 👍

Smashing video, thanks. I wonder if that spacer was something to do with extending the reach of the rod for a different slave cylinder?

@@78ZV yeh something like that or just to try and give the clutch clearance due to not finding the fault with it

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Is there something needed between the basket and the carter of the clutch or it's metal on metal?
@PXCMEDIA21 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching.. do you mean between the basket and hub or the basket and input shaft to gearbox
@antoinejessonnz924121 күн бұрын
@PXCMEDIA between basket and input shaft for the gearbox
@PXCMEDIA21 күн бұрын
It should just bolt directly to the input shaft gear
