Everything is original wires and dock still not showing video. I've swapped HDMI wires, changed TVs, ports tried a new dock. Still nothing. Was working for the past 2 years NO ISSUES now all a sudden it stopped smh

do you know anything about a switch dock not pushing out to the tv but its not giving the error like in the video? the light on the side comes on and off if the dock gets bumped, hope that info helps

Sounds like a loose plug, try different charging cables and hdmi

We've been having issues for a while - Like you did, we do not have the original Nintendo adapter, but we have one that is 7A...Do you think that is way too much ampage, and that's why it won't connect? We even bought a new (generic) dock, but that one won't work either! :(

Most likely. If you don’t buy a regular switch cord make sure to buy one that has the same stats

Try and swap out your hdmi cord or put it in another hdmi input on the TV to ensure it isn’t the hdmi port or cord

Only used my dock maybe 4 times and the things just doesn't work Edit: Figured out that you have to go to update dock on your switch and then connect to the dock and it will work

This console is faulty and no support after a year warranty runs out. My n64 turned 26 this year and after some alcohol swab on pins, works a treat and blurry like the switch docked

So my switch is connecting to the dock it says it’s charging and it’s black on the screen and the LED light is on. But despite all that AND using the right cords it won’t display 😭

Try restarting your switch. If that doesn’t work then try a new HDMI cord

Look at the copper connections in the dock Mine had one or two copper connections/"teeth" damage Would've been from wear and tear

Check your switch charging port and see if maybe there is some lint or something in it.

Sounds like either a port issue or your cord has gone bad. I would order a new cord first and try that

What if the dock/cord doesn’t even charge the switch? It is plugged into the wall, not a power strip.

If it’s the official Nintendo cord then either your cord has gone back or there is an issue with your switch

If it still doesn't connect using all original working cords. Turn off tv. Unplug everything and hold in the Switch power button for 10-15 seconds. Wait 30 seconds. Turn switch back on and reconnect everything. ;)

Try changing your hdmi cord or moving it to a different input. If that doesn’t work it’s either a dock issue or some gunk in the port on your Switch

Sorry but your remedy fails in the first minute. Everything is original straight out the box so it’s obviously not a power supply issue

No, as long as the switch dock is plugged in it will show up on the Tv even if almost dead
