Hi everyone ! I just wanted to say that I might have just found a solution to fix image tearing issue ! On my M1 Mac, I noticed that my games were all encountering a lot of tearing in images making them unplayable. Though, I noticed that the issue was not appearing at all on the footage I recorded using QuickTime Player. Knowing that, I discovered the issue could also be fixed by casting the Mac display through AirPlay which let me play smoothly on my iPad using SideCar. In conclusion, in order to fix image tearing, you need to AirPlay you Mac's display, so the solution is just to AirPlay your Mac to... your Mac itself. I don't know exactly which app would let you do that but I just know it's possible

It works!!! I have been playing on an external monitor via hdmi and no screen tearing!! I have the issue only if I put the Mac to closed clamshell mode via HDMI. So basically if you have two monitors active, no screen tearing… great!

Another way to connect the joycons properly is to just select Joycon Left, then select Joycon right, then just select mfi controller and it should be working correctly

MacOS Ventura has an option for combing controllers to one (through Game Controllers on System Settings), you don't need steam for that.

9:41 Text fields do work on Ryujinx, but it takes many inputs of one character in order to type it. I don't think it's a specific number of presses, I just know that every time I have to type something on Ryujinx on my MacBook Pro, it's a slog.

Hi! If you want to change your name in profile settings, just type it in notepad or something and ctrl+c ctrl+v the name into Ryujinx! :)

Hey Andrew thanks for the vid again! Apparently Animal Crossing isn't crashing anymore for me since I switched ryujinx to run through Rosetta. But the performance isn't as buttery smooth- I only get 23-24 FPS :( Any news on the crashing fix though, heard anything through the grape-vine? Cheers!

Instead of running through Rosetta, just turn off hypervisor in GPU settings. This solves the crashing problem, and is marginally faster than running the Intel version.

First mac release is great, so far I got crash when trying sifu and occasional random crash/freeze, but Mario Kart 8 & Mario Odyssey run perfectly. Oh and Mario Odyssey cannot run when I download cache from Ryusak before running the game, but after clear the cache and run the game first time it works. Is shader cache specific to graphic card or architecture?

As a new M1 MacBook user, and a frequent viewer of your YT Channel, i wanted to ask whether or not have you experienced any issues with DualShock 4 controllers in the past using the native macOS Steam Client? My problem is that once i want to Disconnect my Controller in the Systems settings, it also closes/crashes the Steam Client as well. Thanks for the video! They helped me a lot. However, after I tried your method of adding ryujinx in steam, all my save files and title updates were reset.....I had the update file, so the title update doesn't matter. but the save files.....is there any method to get the save file back?

All your saves should be in your user/.config folder so maybe look there. In my first RyuSAK tutorial I show how to access this folder.

​@@Andytizer Hi Andrew, what in case if I want to uninstall only old RyuSAK 1.5.0, not the entire homebrew. As I suppose, RyuSAK was build locally by npm (Node) and all dependencies are in RyuSAK_folder/node_modules/. Do I have to simply remove RyuSAK_folder or use "npm uninstall" command (found it in npm Docs). I also noticed there is additional folder ~/Library/Application Support/RyuSAK (I still have only 1.5.0 version) I'll appreciate your help.

Ryujinx is the only emulator. RyuSAK just downloads caches and mods.
