Hello people- I'm back at it again with the van content this week and i'm really excited about this one. Today i'm installing a double swivel base in my Ford Transit camper conversion.
Having a swivel seat in your van completely changes the dynamic or the inside of the van and creates a whole new seating area that simply wasnt there before.

Hi there Just fitted our double seat swivel base from same company. Really well made however when turning the seat into position you have to lower handbrake okay no problem but when seat is in position facing into back of van we cannot put handbrake back on as the bar of the seat is in the way? Did not see in your video if you have the same issue?

Hey, I have the same swivel as you for my SWB custom. Do you find it hard getting the seat aligned, putting the pins back in and turning then after your finished? Thanks

Hey do you know if your van is rear wheel drive? I am looking to purchase a swivel base but supplier is saying it's not compatible with RWD...

Thanks! The seat now appears to be substantially higher than the driver seat. Isn't this disturbing?

Hi there when doing the driver’s seat it shows the hand brake needs lowering, from videos I watched, your video didn’t show your seat hitting the brake at all Any information would be great, as a novice and would like to swivel both double passenger and driver seats Great video

Hi, I've not done the driver's seat but can imagine the hand brake will get in the way, yes. The swivel in my old transporter was a nightmare; had to put it in gear, get the handbrake down and then unscrew 4 massive bolts!

6.5 cm more in height, isn't that annoying? do not touch the ceiling with your head

Nope! I'm always in the drivers seat and my other half is a foot shorter than me so if anything it just levels the playing field.

@@Wandering_Blue thank you for your answer, it reassures me I was afraid that the bench (2 places) would be too high compared to the driver's seat. but if you tell me that it equalizes then it’s perfect!

@@Wandering_Blue ok, but what I mainly want to say: Doesn't adding 6cm of height with the swivel base seat raise the entire double seat too much? So it risks being much higher than that of the driver, right?
