I think the most irritating part about it is, she didn't even build him up in the dialogue, or show remorse for the situation. I feel for you, this is pretty common unfortunately and causes a lot of unnecessary stress. Personally I couldn't accept such generosity from another person without forming a stronger bond. If they wanted to date me and I was single, yeah I'd give it a chance because it's very clear they care about me.

From the start she didn't care because ain't noone going to be talking about other guys/girls on a date like that and the fact that only at the end she denied him instead of even trying to offer. Like a full trip to disney/ with hotel accommodations and going out to eat should make it very clear that someone is into you.
