I kinda feel like the anime was making a reference to 2 of meta knight’s best members of the meta-knights as sword was using a mace in the flash back which most likely references mace knight and blade was using an axe most likely referencing axe knight and the reason I say axe and mace knight are the best members of the meta-knights is due to the fact they were the only 2 meta-knights with speaking roles during the revenge of meta knight story line

They never showed what happened to his star badge or his Warp Star. Those mysteries stayed in my head so much that I wrote a Kirby fanfiction with a side plot involving where his Warp Star was.
