Nice to see the curse is off!! For you swordfish lollipops here is a tip, if you rub the bacon flat on the cutting board it will stretch out and fit all the way around. Now when you grill it it will crisp up a little and stay tight around the swordfish medallions. Thanks for the videos!!

When you have thousands of dollars into trying to catch a fish things get stressful and the slightest mistake can lead to going home empty handed. Personally I think the captain was focusing on the landing the fish witch is what he’s there’s to do and following his system witch is probably why he’s so successful in his game.

Lay your bacon out one strip at a time and run the back side of your knife down them to stretch them out... And yes, swordfish is one of my favorites, seriously steak of the sea!!!!

Back in the early eighties my brother and I would spend the summers with our grandmother. He and I would "borrow" a grocery cart from Winn Dixie, load it with all our fishing gear, fasten a sheet to two rods on the front and let the wind blow us out on the Seven Mile Bridge. Good times...

My Marathon story involves a 1 week stay where the wind blew 20+ for the first 2 days then went dead calm the 3rd day then blew 20+ for 2 more days. Day 3 when it was dead calm was amazing seas like glass which made the tow in from Sea tow very pleasurable after the stupid engine blew a belt and pully on the way out, 15 miles off shore. Were headed back in June praying it goes better than last year..

We love Marathon since we got our first boat. We always stay in the same house in Sombrero Beach. Two great memories . During our first trip, going to Sombrero Key Lighthouse and seeing the kids jump off and explore for the first time. Second, was in the same trip, fishing in Bahia Honda for the first time and chumming up a school of keeper Mangroves. We kept 10 keepers, for our first keepers in the Keys and our first Mangroves on the boat ever.

Try pre-cooking the bacon (if you like a more crispy finish) to the point of rippling fat (still pliable). Put aside, paper towel, and cool. Cut medallions to accommodate bacon length. I will try BBQ and maple syrup...outstanding! Next time in Marathon, I will hook-up with Matt for offshore action, most def.

Heiko just FYI I did a native American sage snugging for you right after they said that you were cursed and I truly believe that you have walked through a sacred land aka burial site and has a sacred land protector cling to you from the semolina tribe which you wouldn't know if you had or not because there in markers of this said burial site the semolina tribe only passed this knowledge down through their medicine man or shaman.... The lollipop sticks like the bacon you could not use wood toothpicks wrap it around album You could event a letter start with a one piece right there go all way around with a Tooth Pick add bacon to it go around Connected to the piece where you started from pick on each side of Four corners Rib toothpicks make me a new steak baseball Mistakes you need to understand things you're wrapping bacon around it use toothpicks in the sides. Oh yeah when you make life I rent tell you that new recipe but it's got about it it wasn't important that bad I got blocked 4 times And that was a sub as well
