I could tell the LT was super lean when Frank went off the jump with it. He was off throttle and it was still high reving/ bouncing.. Like it does when they run out of gas. You can hear it at 8:50; he pulls in the clutch and. is off throttle and it's still trying to run away from idle. She was LEAN. Probably a leaking crank seal or something-- from it sitting and getting hard. Or it was running out of fuel -- gummed up filter or something.

I built that Quad. It was a great bike. All Wiseco top end. Aaen cone pipe. Barnett clutch pack. Porting and crank by Ken O'Connor Racing. No switch assembly on the bike when I built it or head light. It was a fun build It would give that yellow Banshee a run. Still sounds crispy. Jeff Davison. Saginaw, Mi.

When I was a teenager I had an indy 500 wound out on a road and I hit a 4 foot snowbank at top speed. I must have jumped that thing over 90 feet! I ended up in the trees. I landed so hard it cracked the tunnel right across the top near the front of the seat, the skis and handlebar were bent bad and I bent the tunnel just like he did but she made it home. It wasn't worth fixing, I had to part it out. Frank just made me remember this.
