Kind of unlucky?? 🤣 The trip has been a 💩show for them. They also borrowed Cleetus’s brand new ram dually diesel. They had stuff in the bed of the truck that got caught up with the gooseneck of the trailer and pushed the bed side out. Poor fellows. I’m sure they will bounce back. Only thing you can do is keep your head up and push forward.

I laughed so hard when the X3 rolled back as Rick was talking about it because it reminded me of a true story that happened to my brother and I, we inherited our grandfather's 1949 Chevy after he passed away, we had the car in the shop with the hood up reminiscing the old days and having a drink, the car has the original straight 6 and runs like a sewing machine, we both have always been into motorsports and building hotrods, we joked about pulling the straight 6 and shoe horn in a big block Ford.... seconds after the comments was made the hood that has been opened a 1000 times suddenly had the spring on the left hood hinge break and the hood slammed shut freaking us both out, needless to say it still has the original straight 6 and a new hood spring 😂 true story!

I've been in a situation where my machine was totaled by someone else, and there were injuries. Over 4 years later and the lawsuit has finally ended. Leo, you were 💯 correct on it just being metal as long as everyone is ok

It was pretty simple, wife was driving, friend in the passenger seat, had a roll. Wife was pretty much ok, friend was not. Resulting lawsuit settled for the insurance maximum, which was abnormally high for these vehicles because my agent was smart about it. Lawsuit was for more than half a million though. I was named because I was the vehicle owner. It doesn't matter that it was my wife. I'm not rich, and the constant thought of everything besides my house being taken was not a good thing for either of us. I was lucky that the insurance covered my wife as well, in the case that you let someone not covered take your machine and they wreck, there's a case that can be made that you knew they weren't trained in driving it, and that you let them drive it anyways. Meaning you can be liable for the wreck

Honestly I've flipped twice in glamis and had to rebuild both times in the moment it's like a loss in the family but then once you start replacing parts and seeing you can get back to where you were it's easier to deal with. Stay strong Rick your one of my teams favorites of the show.

I’d be willing to bet that the cost of that Florida trip is pushing one hundred thousand dollars when you factor in buying a brand new truck the add all the damages encountered. I know Heavy D is going to pay to fix the pro r 4 seater but still they have ricks car to fix they bought battlefield back WHICH THEY ABSOLUTELY HAD TO DO ! there’s no way they could have let that car get parted out.
