Finally, I was able to lift up into Chakrasana! 🎉That is the first time since I was in my 20s (30 years ago). Thank you for encouraging me a couple months ago, Arun, during the global two-year zoom anniversary. I can also reach my feet to the crown of my head toward Eka Pada Sirsanana. I am making progress, practicing almost daily, and today working through a low point. 😢Thank you again for your guidance. 🙏🏻 Om Namah Sivaya ✨💛

It’s indeed an excellent holistic advanced yoga class . Wonderful class.. Divine voice and proper instructions.. Magic journey it was..Though i could not do much balance poses, I tried as per my capacity.. Ofcourse practicioner in video is awesome. By now she must be teacher herself.. Whats her name?

Congratulations for the 18th anniversary ! It was an excellent and super challenging class. I have a question: Wha is the deference of doing the breathing exercise at the end of the class and the beginning of the class? Actually I liked today's version. Thank you for your great sivananda yoga class.

Thank you for practicing with us. Usually in the Ashtanga yoga, pranayama is places after asana. This is so because the asanas help the body to become steady and improves the circulation in the body, so when we sit for pranayama after that, the practice is more grounded. On the other hand, practicing the pranayama before, regulates the breathing, and then through out the asana practice we can breathe deeply, practice the asanas with steadiness without compromising on the quality of breath. Both have their benefits. In the Sivananda programme, we do the breathing practices before the asana practice.
