Welcome to Sydney Cycling. Today we are taking another Sydney Cycleway to the wonderful Botany Bay National Park at Kurnell. The route consists of a mixture of shared path, dedicated cycleways and on-road cycleways. The route has been split into two videos with this one covering the route to Taren Point, an approximate length of 10km.
Sydney Cycleways consist of some great separated bike lanes and shared path roads that the whole family can ride. This section of cycleway is very easy for the whole family to ride, although the path does get very busy at times. The route follows the Botany Bay coastal line and crosses over Captain Cook Bridge and continuing back to the headland. It is a very scenic and lovely coastal route with great views over Botany Bay along the way. The bike path can connect to the city via Alexandria or connect West via the Cooks River Cycleway. See my other videos for information on those rides.
I hope you really enjoy this video. Please subscribe as I will be uploading more Sydney Cycling rides and will try to cover more of Sydney's bike lanes.
Also please feel free to comment below if there are any particular bike routes you would like to see or have any other suggestions.
