The professor gives a lot of additional material he requires students to study and she didn't make the effort to get her hands on any of it. The finals had a lot of the additional stuff in it, so there's literally no point in letting her sit for something she was gonna fail. The lecturer did her a favor, and instead of thanking him she victimized herself. The university literally adviced her about this too. if you are curious, yes, she was able to continue(she just wasn't able to take her finals for that class bcs she didn't meet its requirement). But of course the victim needs to make it dramatic and say she wasn't able to get her degree bcs of that(all false bcs she admitted this in an interview later).

I always found her really beautiful...like naturally! She shone, even against veteran actors such as Lissie, Max & Alexis + Yvonne & Joseph in The Handmaid's Tale even though she was a Child Bride, groomed & its essentially a really dark series. He basically saved her ass from taking the finals that she was bound to fail and mess up her cgpa. But instead of thanking him of course she had to victimize herself. And she's doing fine btw, she later clarified that it didn't prevent her from getting her degree as she boldly claimed. She was well on her way to getting it.
