buxton is small but i call it home. you also don't need to only do steam festival to ride these trains but are regular sunday trains during the year exept in fire seasons. thanks for the upload, very enjoyable.

Oh my gosh! 3265 "Hunter" We haven't seen this loco at Steamfest since about 2012(at a guess). 3265 is a 1901-vintage loco maintained by the Powerhouse Museum.

The station manager at Picton was very nice. I got to Picton only to find out that the bus only goes from Tahmoor to Picton. The manager spoke to one of the people on the train and I got let on from Picton to Thirlmere.

6029 Garratt was fine at Steamfest 2016. Whatever "issues" it had must've been sorted out between Thirlmere in March and Maitland in April, 2016.
