I like the idea of the grey acid pixie being like-most of their magical pixie colors don’t translate to the normal color spectrum, and it’s something that’s only visible after doing their pixie bubble blower stuff. So it’s all grey normally but then you take a puff and inexplicable colors happen 😂

I actually really love the acid pixie build, it looks psychedelic but not in an overstimulating way. Most of the other psychedelic builds I see look way too busy for me to comfortably imagine living in, but this one is perfect ✌️ I also love the dichotomy between the acid pixie people next door blowing bubbles, and the probably well-ordered and grumpy pirates next door 😂

omg yes i thought so too , i love the way it came out but even though on the picture the swatches look really blue when on the building they looked really brown to me and not like the picture .maybe its the lighting 😖but i wanted to see if anyone else thought the same because i thought maybe my ability to distinguish color was messed up

Personally, I love the gray acid pixie. And maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I personally love it when u get a color that u wouldn't normally associate with the original aesthetic. It's more unique, and yea it is challenging, but I think with that challenge comes more creativity. So it's always really interesting to see what you're able to come up with, and I think you nailed it 😄

I love whenever you do this challenge! It’s my favorite. I actually think that the gray flooring that you used looks kind of iridescent. So in a way it’s sort of worked. And the gray helped all the rainbow accents stick out even more. So, I don’t know I think it still worked.

Re your thoughts on dark nautical, I can totally relate. My version of this is that every few months, I get REALLY into learning all I can about shipwrecks and famous sinkings. I can't remember if the guy who runs the yt channel Historic Travels is a real life historian or not, but his vids are my favorite. His Titanic videos were my gateway into his channel, and like every other kid who grew up in the late '90s, I was very obsessed with the Titanic. As a kid, I would read survivor accounts and watch all the latest documentaries on discoveries that came out about the then-recently discovered wreckage. I'm still very into that side of things, but I also am fascinated by videos that outline the wreckage minute by minute and have corresponding graphics. A few years ago (mid-2010s, I think), there was an animation that came out doing just that, and I used to keep it on in the background while I did other work. Anyway, I never knew this niche interest had an aesthetic name now. Gonna have to look more into this and try my own dark nautical builds!

The first townhouse gives me the vibes of an old grumpy person who used to be a sailor. They lost their loved one bc of a shipwreck and their loss has sent them into a spiral of madness and gambling. Now they're broke (hence why the decaying house and the mismatching furniture, but ofc they kept some fancy stuff from the past), hate people (they literally have cannons everywhere and the gambling room is run down and dusty, they no longer host parties and stuff like that) and are desperately trying to fix their old ship to sail again and reunite with their love (kinda like the flying dutchman captain situation but in reverse) in the ocean and put an end to their troubled life (they've lost their mind bc of their loss and believe in sea legends, so it makes sense to go back to the only place where they ever felt happy hoping to retrieve what they lost)

I think these both turned out beautiful!! I like to think the fairies are under some curse or something where they can't have colour and they're bonding with the pirates who are stranded without their ship, maybe the pops of rainbow are items they've successfully turned back the way they would like it and they're working on that while the pirates are rebuilding their ship.
