I feel for the younger generation. I went back to school recently, and the stuff that is being taught in the universities is scary. They are totally pro-LGBT, so much that they silence and cancel anyone who questions what causes sexuality and gender dysphoria. They say gender is on a spectrum. Abortion is just a choice. Evangelical Christians are the enemy of a tolerant society...One of my professors went on NPR to praise Critical Race Theory and said that Evangelicals are against CRT and they are the enemy.

I remember a few years ago reading comments saying that eventually the increasing acceptance of anyone who just calls themselves trans would result in men eventually identifying as women and taking over female spaces. At the time I thought it was a bit silly, why would a man change his entire life just to win medals or something like that. Now I've seen that happen multiple times. I really feel awful for female athletes who have worked their asses off for years to be the best of the best, only to get beaten by a trans woman.

the reason shouldve been obvious. there are men who are sacks of trash and cannot stand the fact they arent the best. so if they are given a chance to completely dominate and NOT be vilified for it? those trash bags would totally do it. just look at the Seinfeld episode where Kramer joins a martial arts class and just beats the crap out of a bunch of 10-13 year old children because he has like 30 or 40 years on all those kids.

Every time I hear this subject, I find myself wondering why the ladies turn up. Don't compete. Just say no. Make a stand. Because a trans athlete winning a gold medal against no competition has no victory to celebrate. I appreciate that this is difficult for women but we men cannot do this for you. Hubbard is a case in point. Let him compete alone. Let him pretend he's won. Eventually he will tire of the pretence.

@Steve Price they can't just refuse to compete. They were threatened to lose their job. This issue was exist in indie wrestling. So apparently, intergender wrestling was trending in indie wrestling world few years ago (and probably still). A lot of female wrestler who disagree with intergender wrestling will be kicked out of the show. And since indie wrestling is a complete scripted, they usually let the women win as their payment for contributing the trend. while they have equal payment, many women wrestler still feels discouraged because they know they've been played, they can't win out of pure strength, only can win if the script let them. but threatened to lose their job if they refuse to participate. Someone on twitter calling this issue, but people start cherrypicking women like chyna, etc. As few example of women can compete against men in wrestling, while in fact, women who can do that probably just 1 : 20 in general. And people bullying this guy too, saying he was misogynist because limiting women opportunity against men, while it's kinda ironic since many women wrestler don't want to participate in intergender wrestling but they can't and obviously, their choice were limited and their voice ignored

This shows exactly ONE case. That is also a fact! Normally you (not Sidney, news reporting is important, not Glitterball personally, but you ... the people) don't give a shit about trans people. They are so unimportant and rare. Now, when it comes to world-class athletes who are many times rarer and extraordinary people, does that suddenly matter? Let people who have a clue decide about it, such as scientists and the athletes themselves. You are just a bigot and we really don't need any more hypocrisy. Oh wait: pointless debates by amateurs without a clue are also important. These keep you from doing other stupid things with your pitchfork, for example. All of this is of course meant to be satirical. P.S.: Oh, and why stop there? Why don't we also ban people who fall out of the norm and thus have an unfair advantage over others?(That is btw. what makes a human being to be world class). How about Usain Bolt or Sally Pearson with their extraordinary cardiovascular system? We really shouldn't put our pitchforks away again anytime soon after the torches are burning ... Sarcasm aside, there should really be 4 categories in certain sports. Otherwise it's unfair (everyone is talking about male-to-female transsexuals, but according to your logic, female-to-male transsexuals are even worse off). And don't get so artificially excited, medals and titles are usually revoked very quickly. Even in retrospect (Lance Armstrong, Tonya f'ing Harding, all "honorable" athletes). Oh and please, people, take a breath again. In the end it is not Sydney, you or I who decide, but the Olympic Committee. They don't give a shit about KZbin:)

One of the biggest problems with the current transfad movement is that the ideology is completely incoherent. They say that they need to "transition" for the mental well being of those in that situation and then say that no one should have a problem with it because there is no difference between men and women... It's all a social construct... Really? Then what are you "transitioning" to if there is no difference and why? Transition into the same thing? That's not actually a transition. They also try to say that men can have periods. If you believe that you need a biology lesson or two because you clearly don't understand why that happens and why it only happens to those called female. Interesting to note that a lot of the people who have lived the trans lifestyle for decades say that the current transfad movement doesn't speak for them... I wouldn't want my lifestyle to be associated with such nonsense either.

Hey there! Trans people know that higher levels of testosterone generally correlate to higher levels of performance. That's why even though trans people have technically been allowed to go to the Olympics since 2004, nobody but Laurel Hubbard's ever made it in: she had to undergo strenuous testing in order to make sure that her levels were comparable to women who were assigned so at birth. These rules make it so that some biological women have higher testosterone levels naturally than trans women would be allowed to, and tests/rules like these why trans women don't overwhelm these sports, even though it may feel like they should.

I have actually had the case of Laurel Hubbard as my topic in my final presentation exam in high school (12th grade, doing my A-levels, between 17-18 years old). I put out a survey on our school cloud asking (every student (12-18) and every teacher) what everyone personally thinks should be done about this. Most people thankfully choose the options "She should take part in men's sports" or "there should be an extra category for trans people". But the third biggest category (don't remeber the exact percentage, but i should still have the data in detail on my pc, so if anyone is interested... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) choose the option "nothing should be done/she should still take part in women's sports" and most of the reasons (yes, i asked everyone to leave a reason for their decision) were "because she is a women." or "if she wants to be seen as a woman, we should respect that!" It made me regain and at the same time lose hope for my home country (Germany) since i could thankfully witness that the majority still used their brain, but seeing that a part went after the typical illogical "woke" agenda made me worry that this mindset might grow here in the future and that soon, people will lose more and more of their logical thinking in order to not offend anyone. Im praying for my country and for the future of humanity 🙏

Things like the parents who mostly influence their children who desired their children to be a boy but end up they got a girl. N girl but end up they got a boy.. so the parents dressed them up to the gender that they want their son or daughter to be. Another case is becoz the child already have dark history with pedho people.. maybe family, someone close or they're being bullied in the school. And another case is becoz pronography.. it maybe influence from friends, family or their serounding.. So watch out ur child and try to know them more.. n bringing up them with the right path... talk with them befriend with them.. accepted what gender they're.. if they're confused about their gender when they hit puberty..help them back to the right path especially teens. They usually confused when the hit certain time.. they got to much ego, too much thinking, too wild, too much things for we parents to look for them. Everyone talks about hormones, but men have twice denser bones and with that comes physical strength. Those normal levels of testosterone in men do the things you claim 'these athletes' had to take testosterone for. Men most certainly have a natural physical advantage over women--thousands of years of evolution and biology guarantee it. That's not a matter of opinion. You can look it up. some references to support the claims would be useful ... Was curious to see some on the matter and found this one that states otherwise: "Thus, throughout prepubertal and pubertal growth, and in the fully grown young adult, males and females have the same trabecular BMD (number and thickness of trabeculae) within the vertebral body; what differs is vertebral body size. Men have a wider and only slightly taller vertebral bodies. Thus, growth does not build a denser skeleton in males than females, it builds a bigger skeleton. If the strength of the vertebral body is greater in young males than females, it is due to gender differences in size, not density, not the amount of bone within the periosteal envelope of that bone." @@tabithaxenden8267 you do realize my comment is about taking other competitors top spots and getting gold in their events right, which is my point, the main issue here is that men transitioning to female straight ass out compete the biological females in their category which is NOT EQUALLY true with females transitioning to men and competing in male events. And to your point if a female is transitioning to male they should not be allowed to compete in the female events period as they are taking medicine that gives them a clear advantage, this is why the progressive left is so dumb they make everything ok but in the process ruin everything as they dont think things through because every choice they make is based on emotion NOT reason.

Hi there! There's no data that supports the claim that cis men are changing sports and pretending to be women so that they can do better. The reason that trans athletes are feeling more comfortable about playing sports openly is because there's more representation for them in media and general society, so they can be themselves without having as much fear. (That's the same reason there seem to be more gay people now. Previously in history, it was much less safe to live openly, so there seemed to be fewer of them. However, now that they are able to have rights more similar to the ones heterosexual people have always had, more are feeling more comfortable in being open.)

As for barring ppl with different bodies, it would be different if they were naturally born with that difference. But something like trans men being on testosterone therapy is not fair to any of the women he’s trying to compete with, yet still wouldn’t be able to properly compete with biological men. For anyone who needs or wants an analogy: Artists enrol in a professional competition, using paint and brushes and canvas. These people (the women) have done this for years and it's considered rather fair, with the exception of people who cheat with special canvases or pre-made paintings. One year, someone enrols but has a camera. They (the trans-woman) take a picture, gets it printed on a canvas, calls it a painting, and subsequently wins. We can all see that this simply isn't fair due to the equipment being used, no matter what they want to call the end result. A photograph cannot identify as a painting. A camera cannot identify as a paintbrush. They need different competitions in order to be fair.

In the end his poor kindergarten graffiti has been considered art, while an army of people who try their best are put aside, because their art is considered too common, not original, already seen, too normal and so on. This guy had to write notes under his pictures, as "this is a foot", just because it was not clear to the viewer, but, eh, he was the artist. What are their hormone-levels? To 1) When they transitioned before puberty, then there is no (real) difference to the gender, they transitioned to, I think. When they transitioned after puberty, there is nearly no difference to the gender, they transitioned from (See 2). When they transitioned during puberty, there is a big grey area, where I can't draw the line. To 2) When they don't take hormones, they only dress up as the other gender. The other thing is debateable, and I also can't draw a line. A different competition can work, but with something similar to weight-classes for percentage of transitioning, when you know, what I mean.

Apologies for the length but I do hope you read this Sydney! I was born female, and I *am* female, BUT, when I hit puberty I exploded with bulging muscles. I was a gymnast from the age of 5 and I also enjoyed weight training from the age of 10, the facility was next door to where my Mum worked at the local hospital.... And then over about 6mths I gained 20+kgs and started looking like a very short Arnold Schwarzenegger so much so my parents and teachers were convinced I was taking steroids... so off too the specialist and test after test and finally it was discovered I was producing the same levels of testosterone as a approx 15 - 16yr old boy. Not fun, but the bullying at school ended quickly as it was discovered I was as strong (at 13) as the average 16yr old boy.... now this was back in the early 80s... why am I giving you this context? Because from that point on I was no longer allowed to compete in school sports with the rest of the females in my class. I was no longer able to compete as a gymnast (after 8yrs of hard work and hours of training) and I was certainly not able to compete in weight lifting anymore.... And I *AM A BIOLOGICAL FEMALE!!! * *BUT* Lucky for me I had a nurse for a Mum and an Ambo for a Dad, so although it hurt like hell, they were able to sit me down and explain that this weird thing going on in my body although not my fault - was also not the other girls in my classes fault either and so although I never gave up my training - I never competed again and the records I held - were taken away. I am now over 50, retired and as I read and listen to people like Sydney I am disgusted that non-biological females are competing against biological females - take it from an FEMALE whose body still produces more testosterone then a females body should..... It is bloody wrong and it is bloody unfair to see what is happening in female sports! And if this is not stopped soon - it *WILL be the death of female sports!!* If I was a Female competitor - and I found out I would be competing against a biological male - I would very publicly boycott the event and hope the rest of the competing females stood strong beside me..... after all *NO COMPETITION - NO EVENT - NO WINNER* *Call it the modern day 'burning of bras!!"*

There have been many who think I discriminate against transgender people, I don't, I just do not agree with their stance on sports - *AND what they seem to forget* - I am also trapped in a body I never asked for, and have spent my life being punished for it. THEY have surgical and pharmaceutical options - *I don't* And now because of all this sports rot - I have to deal with strangers who treat me like I kicked their dog.... When I lost all I had worked for as a child - my beautiful Dad said something I will never forget; and became my mantra (and my sanity) for life..... *"Well Miapiccola, seems there's a road block ahead; best we get out the shovels and dig you a new path to follow"* We didn't cry and throw tantrums, we didn't blame the world or play victim.... we just got on with it.... Rian, I thank you for taking the time to read my comment it means more then you know. ❤ Mia

@@Aussie1968 It’s sad you weren’t able to compete because of something that was occurring naturally in your body and it must hurt to see someone who, I assume, has far more testosterone than you welcomed into women’s competition. What saddens me about Laurel Hubbard is that she must know she has a huge unfair advantage over her competitors but is still determined to go ahead and beat them. And what does that prove? What does she get out of that? Where is the satisfaction for her? I would hope that, if I was in her position, I would do what I would see to be the decent thing and retire from competition. We all have to accept that the hand life deals us means we won’t be able to all the things we would like to do. I do worry where all this could lead and what it could mean for women’s’ sport.

Regardless of testosterone levels, someone who goes through puberty as a male will have advantages in physique .

Not to mention that if a transgender was found dead and mutilated to the point where visual identification could not be made, testing would identify the victim as male because of their chromosomes. There is no procedure that can change sex at a chromosomal level and as hard a transgender will argue, they will remain biologically male all their life.

Yeah I think only males who go through hormone changes before puberty should be allowed to participate

Concur. Anyone who went through puberty as a male should not be allowed to compete as female. The advantages cannot be erased by hormone treatment.

I am an average guy who was a reasonable club runner (still am). In my first 25 years racing in local races, almost every weekend, a woman never finished in front of me till I was well into my fifties. Perhaps if I had 'identified' as one, I would have well over 1000 trophies to find a home for: Fair? You decide.

I remember seeing an over 50 males marathon club in the uk with qualifying times faster than the female world record. Which means those men over 50 years old have better performance than a woman in her 20s at her peak. But there's no advantage for males somehow.

I was thinking the other day about this. Who gets to board the lifeboats first when the ship is sinking when you have transwomen onboard?

@@belle8i I've always thought it should be young people 1st with at least 2 people in there 20s or 30s per boat. Seems weird to allow a 70 year old woman to board before a 20 year old male.

@@belle8i There is no official rule in evacuation procedures saying 'women and children first'. So you're being a bit hyperbolic with this. If the transwoman looks like the Rock she can wait, if she's injured they'll put her on. 😉

I really think the women competitors should join together and refuse to participate if a trans-women (a man) is competing in their sport, its simply unfair to them.

Unfortunately, for the other athlete, their whole life goal is centered around going to the Olympics. Easy to say take a stand and refuse to play, but they still get to compete for the Silver, unfortunately, the gold was given away.
