@@TheMasterOfSheeps Personally I've turned Sensei's Diving Top into an immortal blocker by turning it on with Karn and putting it on top of my deck. I also know about turning Staff of domination into a creatures and going infinite with other peices, but the caltrops one is so spicy and cool.

I know I'm late but I gotta share my Sydri shenanigans. I made a deck similar to this one and it's amazing. For starters you can force unequip equipments by turning them into creatures, I managed to exile powerful artifacts such as darksteel forge and Akroma's memorial using aligned hedron network (after turning them into creatures), you can destroy mana rocks with board wipes, force treasures to disintegrate, animate opponents artifacts to help them chump block after a wipe, and all around mess up plans. I never intended the deck to be that invasive but it's saved me heck of a lot of games. I even managed to use Dermotaxi to copy Phage the untouchable (which never enters the battlefield) and instantly win. Vehicles are so fun it's almost sad that they're not used so much (but since Wizards keeps printing one or two in every set I feel like they're making them just for me 😊).

Don’t forget the Pilot that gives your cars first strike… being able to keep the Ball Lightning car alive for multiple turns can be backbreaking and threaten planeswalkers very effectively.

An amazing card you may have missed is Workshop Elders from Throne of Eldraine. It turns a non creature artifact into a creature with 4 +1/+1 counters and gives your artifact creatures flying. I believe it is under a dollar as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but since Sydri's first ability does not include the text "base power", does that mean the ability would be based on layers? As in, if something like Tempered Steel was in play and then you used Sydri's ability on say Heart of Kirnan, then Heart would stay as a 2/2 vs using Sydri's ability and then after playing Steel, making Heart a 4/4? Or would layers not matter in this situation either way and Heart will be a 4/4 regardless of when the cards entered and abilities activated?

Also responding to board wipes by turning your opponents artifacts into creatures and blowing them up too. There's political value too in making opponents things into viable blockers for maybe a favor later? I've been playing this deck for like 6 years lol

I love this idea. These kind of off-the-wall decks make me happy. With Sydri I made a Commander deck that was a tribute to an old friend's Dreadnaught deck. Made a super weird deck that uses creatures with massive etb downsides such as Dreadnaught, Eater of Days and Leveler with etb stop cards like Torpor orb, Tocatli Honor Guard, Hushbringer and Hushwing Gryff. Also added some spicy synergies for some super fun win conditions.

A word of warning as a Sydri player (though a more combo based variant): If your opponents know your deck, playing Caltrops will instantly turn everyone against you. 😅

Could a monoblue veichle deck work well? I have Urza and others very good blue cards but don't want to build the boring "play only 0 or 1 mana artifacts then either mill yourself for win condition or use the artifact that gives you 1 life for each spell cast and for a ton of life can kill a player". So this veichle strategy seems very interesing to me but could it work with Urza? What other blue cards could synergize considering I have to cut some of the best veicles because they aren't blue?

I think one of the best upgrades to this is Skysovereign, Consul Flagship. With Sydri it can do deathtouch damage on attack to kill most troublesome creatures on its way in for 5 damage and 5 life gain.

Reminds me of the Inspired Vehicles deck I was going to build. It was basically going to be a Jeski deck using the Inspired mechanic which works really well with Crew.
