3:07 Tulipános láda /Crate with tulips. The women stored their personal items and clothes in it. These were collected from the time they were little girls, and remained the property of the woman even after marriage. It is always made for one person, individually. It is now a very rare. The cowboy analogy is a good. By the way, the heyday of the outlaws coincided with the heroic age of the Wild West. There was even a train robbery. True, only three and none of them succeeded, but there were. 8:36 Gendarm man. The organization was originally created against outlaws. Later they were the rural police. It was a professional team, in every sense. In the Second World War, however, they had to participate in deportations. The communist regime did not forgive this and their absolute loyalty to the previous regime, abolished the body and persecuted the former gendarmes. An interesting thing about the csarda. The police body ( pandur) before the gendarmerie had only county powers. They could not move to the other county. Cooperation between neighboring counties did not exist. Thus, many csarda were built on the county border. The outlaws entered, and when the pandur's came, they simply went to the part of the inn belonging to another county. 8:56 The statue in the foreground depicts a hussar. First World War memorial to the heroic dead from the city. There is a similar monument in almost every settlement. 9:17 traditional house, but already modernized "Túró rudi" is either loved or not. There is no pozition between the two. It's true, he has a big cult following in Hungary. 18:14 Lada Niva. In the 1980s, this Soviet car was the all-terrain vehicle. It is to have good off-road capabilities, can be repaired cheaply, is undemanding, has strong heating and good suspension, but its production quality is poor and it consumes an awful lot. It was mostly seen in white, but there were also dark green and burgundy. 19:06 The Kádár cube. In the 1970s, such type houses could be built. The old earthen houses were replaced with these. There are settlements where there are only such houses. Of course, every owner tried to create something unique. There are those who made the facade unique, but there were also those who built additions. 20:36 This vessel is the bogrács/cauldron. This is a version used exclusively for serving, but there are also 25-liter bogrács's. These large cauldrons are used to prepare food. This version with a round bottom spread across the Great Plains. There is another type that has a flat bottom and a narrower top. This is mainly used by near waters to prepare fish dishes.

Szia Syifa, köszönöm szépen again for a lovely and heart-warming video from Hungary. These old places and csardas and especially the warmth with which the people receive you, made me feel a bit nostalgic. During my school time in eastern Austria (near the Hungarian border) I played in a band. On weekends we often performed in villages in similar barn-like pub restaurants. And the standard 'band food' we got at these places was always a gulyás (gulash), a roll and a beer. Szia, szia, till your next video.

It was a perfect decision to have goulash for your last lunch in our country. By the way we call it "gulyás" in Hungarian and it is pronounced kinda like "gooyaash" 🙂 I know this dish made its way to several countries around the world as a sort of international food but I'm pretty sure you'll never get it anywhere as authentic as in Hungary. It was especially a good decision to order it particularly in a csárda at the countryside and not at a fancy restaurant in Budapest because most fancy restaurants in bigger cities cannot cook it as delicious as a small village inn.

The "Stormcorner" name wans't given because of the region was left behind by industrial developement, but because in hungarian history most of the conflicts of the country were connected to this part of it. Take it into the picture, that the country was lot bigger than it is now, so the region was bigger too.

Which you have seen "kompót" (canned fruit) is a technique to preserve the fruits without freezer. Also the "kolbasz" (sausage) is a dried meat with lot of seasoning serves as an other method to conservate the meats without fridge. With these methods the farmers were able to have lot of provisions for winter: not only for one family but more. The fruit-vegetable-livestock producers were fully self sufficient independent of economic circumstances. You could learn of hungarian "paraszt" (farmer) people had very advanced technique in agriculture: diversity, herbs, weather forecast etc.

@@koge_hun7265 no they are not. When people in these villages spot someone with a slightly darker skin, they won't ask for their passport. They will call the police, being afraid that the person would rape them. You cannot seriously believe that people will consider anyone of color to NOT be an immigrant/terrorist/enemy of our "Hungarian lifestyle."

The conversation is quite casual and informal, with the person talking about their experience eating beef stew (stewed with paprika), saying hi to kids at a school, and interacting with them. They also mention filming a KZbin video and promoting their social media channels. Some interesting points from the conversation: The person enjoys a hearty beef stew made with rich paprika, which gives it extra flavor. They visit a nearby school and say hello to the students, who seem delighted by this interaction. The person's name is Syifa (they mention introducing themselves on camera), and they have interacted with kids before as they used to be a teacher. They have been filming videos in Hungary, starting from Budapest and moving through various villages. Overall, it seems like the video aims to showcase everyday life and interactions in a foreign country, which could be an interesting and relatable topic for viewers.

Sándor Rózsa one of the most notorious and cruelest Hungarian criminals, robber murderers, and outlaws according to contemporary terms. A thirty-time serial killer, he also committed numerous robberies. On May 5, 1873, he was taken to Szamosújvár, where he was detained under pedigree number 1267. At first he was employed as a tailor in prison, but later, due to his illness, he worked as a hosiery knitter. However, his health continued to deteriorate and he died of "tuberculosis" in the Szamosújvár prison on November 22, 1878.
