I was removing the stylus from my Samsung Note 8 to write a text. As I [pressed the "cap" of the stylus, the cap of the stylus along with the spring popped out of the phone. The lower portion of the stylus remained lodged in the phone. I used your "skewer " method without putting any type of adhesive on the tip of the skewer. I inserted the skewer into the opening of the phone; into the opening of the S pen; twisted it ever so slightly; pulled the skewer out of the phone and VOILA!! The lower portion of the stylus was on the tip of the skewer!! I am a happy camper!! The phone works beautifully...

I know this video is pretty old by now, but I just wanted to thank you for it! My girlfriend had the same thing happen to her SPen and was having a hard time getting the stuck part out. We were both stressing over the best way to fix it but nothing we saw online really worked. It was only your tip to add some strong glue to the end of the stick and let it cure against the broken bit that really helped! So, thank you big time from the both of us :]

I like what you did to get the s-pen out but I didn't feel comfortable putting glue inside the chamber. I did something a little different. I used a 3/32 inch drill bit and drilled very carefully inside the broken s-pen and it came out without a problem. It literally took about 1 minute to get it out. Thank God for his help. I went to a place that fixes electronics and they were going to charge me 100.00 to repair.

Seriously, saved me a lot of worrying and possibly money. Just to let you all know I have a Note 9 and a bluetooth pen. Not looking forward to replacing that.. lol I broke my pen in half, and the top half was what they said above and the bottom was stuck inside my phone. Yep, the Toothpick/anything longer then 2inches with some (a very small amount) of crazy glue and push, then pull after about 30secs. BE CAREFUL!!! - I was, stupidly using my pen to crack my finger about an hour ago, and here we are now. Sad for the cost, but happy for the solve!!! lol Thanks again, your the best!!!

You can also use a LARGE paper clip just big enough to fit in the little hole of the pen. Bend the end just a little bit so it will get tracking on the side of the hole and put just enough pressure again the side while pulling it out.

Thank you..thank you... thank you so much it worked on my note 9. Listen people, don't even try to glue your stylus back together if the metal part snaps, just get a replacement. Because that's what I did and it broke again when I tried to pulling out, wedging the s-pen tip inside. THANK GOD I found your video!!! I was super scared, so I let my glued scewer sit to dry over night and I prayed it didn't break as I was pulling it out... It worked😁.

Hello, My stylus was stuck in my Note 8. I watched your video. I decided to use a toothpick without glue. I stuck it in, pushed, twisted and it was in tightly. After about 2 minutes I pulled the toothpick out, giving up, and to my surprise yhe stylus came right out!!! So it is possible....just some trial and error. Thanks

I didn't have nail glue but i had krazy clue so i got an cotton swab and took the cotton part off made sure it was just the stick then i put a little drop of the glue on the top stuck it in and made sure it was stuck to the pen and left it there for a minute or 2 and pulled it out and it worked!

Great idea. I didn't have a skewer but just sharpened a wooden chopstick to a point, stuck it in, turned it a bit to wedge the end in the pen hole and pulled out the broken piece.

Ingenuity! I broke my S Pen on my note 9. Over 80% of it fell out, but the tip was still inside and was causing issues with the S Pen sensor. Sucks that I have to get a new pen, but that is for the method to get the last bit out. Life saver!

I used a uv screen protector for my s10+ and the UV glue seeped into the stylus hole and now it's stuck. I think her idea is my best bet. Thank you. Love your voice and nails btw.

Thanks for the vid....i ended up using a screw driver to find the hole and pull it out. There are specialized screwdriver sets for cell phones you can buy. I would definitely say to invest in one...this is the one that I bought 4 years ago and it has saved me in situations like this TOO many times. "Kaisi 16-Piece Precision Screwdriver Set Repair Tool Kit for Cell Phone" Should only be about $8 and it's prime of course.

if this didn't work, i put a piece of tape on the end where it connects with the long part, shoved it in until i heard the end of the long part puncture the tape and then i got a safety pen, and pulled the whole thing out.

In my case, the glue on the skewer tip did not hold-so I could not pull out my stylus. I had some 1" #4 Robertson screws on hand. I selected a drill bit that would make a hole a tiny bit smaller than the diameter of the threads of the screw. Not pressing too hard I drilled about ¼" straight into the broken end of the stylus. I blew away the bits of plastic that had drilled out. Then I carefully pressed the point of the screw into the hole as I turned the head of the screw with my fingers. Once the screw was holding in the hole I was able to use a Robertson screwdriver to turn the screw in a bit deeper. My broken stylus now slides in & out of my Note8 quite handily & the screw head sticks out about 1/4 inch. That will do until my new stylus arrives from Amazon.

All the new pens even from Samsung are too tight. They aren't accounting for the thickness of the paint on the pen. I found that using a nail file on the semi fine side & sanding down the pen until it's small enough works after I sand it down with that I just walk on down in the grits until I am using the smooth file. I take it down smaller than the hole compartment. Then spray paint it's color back. Oh thanks 4 the idea at getting the pen out!!!😏👍😣
