Sylvain Guintoli's McLaren 570S - Full Service & Dyno Run!

Ex-World Super Bike Champion, Sylvain Guintoli, paid us a visit with his stunning, McLaren 570S. In this video, we show how we carried out a full service, including replacing the fluids and air filters, as well as the essential checks that we make on every vehicle.
Being a supercar, the process isn't as simple as your average daily, especially when it comes to gaining access to the air filters and getting the oil level spot on.
Our comprehensive inspection highlights potential trouble spots and we offer advice on how to keep your McLaren in tip top condition - paying special attention to the tyres.
We also came across a few problems, which you may not expect from a £150K+ 2016 supercar...

Ah, where would we be without good old copper slip. I've used it for years. We'll since my teens and lm now 72 . Only started watching your channel a few days ago. I find it very refreshing that there is a human mechanic out there. Call a spade a spade and a wee swearing into the bargain. Makes all the difference boyoe . Great input and knowledge. A walking encyclopedia. Very rare mate.

A Nickel based anti seize grease is better than copper slip… cooper slip with aluminium can cause galling of threads etc (copper and aluminium are reactive👍

Bilt Hamber do various anti corrosion products for the rusty brackets etc… worth checking out their Daynax wax and Atom-Mac etc, would make good additions to the workshop and any service plus their products are proven and relatively cheap 👍

Utter rubbish, tell me how many MotoGP CHAMPIONSHIPS his has, how many MotoGP wins he has? The answer is 0 He is a Superbike rider, not good enough for MotoGP. Try researching before talking crap. He won 1 Superbike championship. Johnny Rea has won 6.

Mate Is it possible to replace engine mounts on a gen 1 v10 without removing the engine? Maybe use a jack or hoist to slightly raise the engine?

Can you replace the nasty fasteners with alloy ones or are they not strong enough? I've been using a green grease on my bolts

It’s a fabric tape we use to stop 2 panels rubbing together, you can get it off Amazon.

Do you have to lock the suspension into a service mode before you put it on the lift?

No, there's only the option of lift on the car which takes the front up about 40mm
