Quick little updates to these videos, now with blessings being a thing you can discuss with your opponent, filling out the rest of the points with just the box + some blessings should be really good if you don't want to buy more models for 90 points

Not a Sylvaneth player and not getting into yet another army but they do look pretty sweet! :) ... I picked up Morathi yesterday so I know what my next hobby project will be ;), still got quite a bit of only primed Daughters waiting for me as well

$28 dollars off the price when buying them separately and direct. Pretty nice deal. By making one of the Gossamid Archers a Flitwing Scion you can max out at 950, and you make two Scions you can max out at 990. Not bad for $70 or less.

I've gotten back into the hobby with my nephew who loves the Sylvaneth models, so while building up for AoS we are currently mostly playing Warcry and I can tell the Arch-Revenant is a staple and a playmaker, and given the Sylvaneths healing ability and his mobility it can take quite a bit to deal with him. I'm currently limiting myself to the bespoke warbands, so it might feel different for others, but I can hardly see my nephew ever playing without that model. The Gossamid archers are cool models, but they don't feel impactful enough on paper for their cost in my opinion, but I haven't had any experience with them yet.

This is an interesting warband. I think you’re right, it’s pretty great and the Wood Elf theme that I was hoping for.

Yeah, I think adding some Dryads is a way to go. And maybe Branch Nymph? Maximize that scout ability.

I’m thinking that they might just use the AoS models on square bases. Maybe a couple of updated lines, perhaps for the different pre-Empire humans. Aren’t some of the AoS models still the old Fantasy lines and still come with both round and square bases?

Love sylvaneth models. Never played them yet unfortunately but look like a lot of fun. Would love F.E.C to get some deranged attention too. Including a new Codex lol.

I have played this warband. It is fun, useful for objective and treasure scenario's, but really bad in fighting scenario's.

Is it possible to run a seraphon and sylvaneth army in warcry and AoS? I love models from both armies.

You can add this box set to another order army in AoS, so that'll work alongside the Seraphon. I don't know enough about AoS to answer about other units, though. I'm sure if you're playing open play games it'll be cool to mis things up.

@@tabletopskirmishgames OK that's good to hear. Looks like I have a life/green magic sort or leaning. But my current AoS army is hedonites of slaanesh so go figure 😅 (I'm prefer painting and collecting and not played any games yes hence the original question.)
