Comic writers seem to both hate and love spiderman, they put him through some awful things and give him some of the best story lines we've had, unfortunately I think the MCU are afraid to put Peter through real pain and that's when he's at the best

The sad part is mysterios near redemption was a kind of mirror of the uncle Ben scenario. He’s does something that shouldn’t have negative repercussions there is a major fatal repercussion and he swears to change his life. If spidey had been less paranoid or at least listened before the beat down he probably would of sympathized

If I ever make it as a marvel writer, I'll try to continue off of this comic, or a soft reboot where he doesn't get the shit beaten out of him before being able to speak. If doc ock can get fixed and become good, or Norman, I think Quentin deserves the chance too. Would have been a great asset against Thanos and his mindless creatures. Would have thinned out the chaos on the battlefield on Titan. That's just one example.
