I have a 98 mustang cobra thats having all of the symptoms associated with a bad control arm. I thought I might have a broken inner tie rod at first but I'll definitely have the control arm checked out as well.

I hit a pothole and now I'm having these exact symptoms. It clunks a lot while driving over normal roads etc. I was waiting for the city i live in to pay for damages due to the pothole but they denied me. So now I'm planning on taking them to small claims court. How serious is this problem and can the wheel really fall off like the suv in this video?
