Syndicate Safehouse Gravicius Farm

Wanted to release a video explaining how to farm specific syndicate member rewards and in this case I've been farming Gravicius in Transportation.
You can use the strategies discussed here for any member in any location but honestly most of the rewards are pretty poor now.
For some clarification on why you want your ideal reward to be captain when you do the safehouse it puts them down as a lt. afterwards making it easier to re-rank them. There isn't a reward bonus it just makes the loop faster.

I knew how to farm syndicate, but never knew how to set up a X farm on X member. Best guid so far, i'll try this as well in ssf. hopefully, i'll get a jackpot.

I have used this strategy for several leagues and hit the ultimate jackpot in 3.23 by getting a full stack of house of mirrors (yes, this does drop from Gravicius chests in Transportation, I can 100% confirm). Never got headhunter or mageblood cards somehow, but they can drop as well. Divine Orbs are pretty common. However, most of the time you get some strange uniques. The most common cards are blocked since they stealth-buffed Gravicius some leagues ago. Your guide is very good. Most prominent streamers have no clue how Betrayal works and make some shitty guides. However, I am not sure I would create relationships between the other guy in Transportation (in this case Vorici) and other Syndicate members as it reduces the chance for Gravicius to spawn in Transportation, thus reducing the chance to upgrade him. In my opinion you should have red lines between Graivicus and everyone, but no lines between Vorici and other members (other than Gravicius). Otherwise you might get dozens of Transportation encounters with Vorici and someone else, but without Gravicius. If Vorici has no lines, Gravicius will always spawn in case 2 or more members are rolled for the encounter. I also would not create any relationships between non-Transportation members, because it reduces the chance to spawn Gravicius in other safehouses, although you lose some opportunities to rank up other members in this case. But, most of the time, the limiting factor is to rank up Gravicius, and not to feed intelligence into Transportation. So, in my opinion, the best would be Gravicius had red lines with everyone, and no other lines were present on the board. By the way, a similar strategy was applied some leagues ago before they changed Betrayal. Back then you did the same thing with Aisling in Research, because you got the Aisling slam in the normal safehouse (before they moved it to the Catherina safehouse).

since u seem very educated when it comes to betrayal... is area lvl important for that spacific farm? (since for some of the rewards from betrayal it actually matters afaik) or could u just spam white maps and still have access to all the potential div cards?!

@@peterlusstig2680 I am sorry, I don't know, because I always do red maps with this strategy. I got my stack of HoM in a Lvl 83 Caterina Safehouse (don't even know if this can drop in normal safehouses). I also don't know whether the rewards are better in Caterina Safehouse. I think yes, but I am not 100% sure. Plus, you get two chests with full stacks of div cards in the Caterina safehouse. But, of course, you need much longer as you have to rebuild the board every time. Sorry to disappoint you, but if you do it on white maps, I would be very interested about your results.

If member in Transportation don't have relationships, then almost every encounter in Transportation (if Gravicious is leader) you will get only 1 member, because no relationships

You didn't kept track of every card set you got? Would like to see a list. Btw you don't want any non-Grav and non-Vorici to have any connections between each other. Because they will summon each other more often instead of Vorici / Grav if they have connections.

A question that comes to mind is: If you want to transition to farming another safehouse without losing all those connections how'd you approach it? Lets say you are farming Gravicious but now you have found an Awakened gem you really want to level up, so you want to get Tora in research. What do you do? Do you move all people to Transport until you only have 2 in research and when you are done do all the transfers back?

You can move them to any locations just getting tora + 1 isolated in research will be fine.

Whats the difference in rewards from grav as leader 3 star (+1 from cata) in mastermind vs 3 star in a safe house? Ive gotten better rewards usually from masterminds than safehouses but dont know if there sre numbers behind that. This seems alot faster though

When I tested it briefly in crucible there didn't seem to be any difference in t4 vs t3 gravicius just you would get 2 uses. Keep in mind I only tested something like 50 uses of each and they did just recently rework syndicate so it may not hold true anymore. From what I've seen of other people showing t4 grav this league however there are still outcomes of the same weighting so I would imagine it's still just 2 uses of the same device. Leadership doesn't do anything for rewards anymore that was changed awhile ago just as a note. The reason I recommend having gravicius (or whoever you're farming) as leader is because it makes it easier to re-rank them afterwards for the farm.

I wouldn't recommend it given the value of catarina from veiled orbs but taking an extra map or two out of your rotations to ensure gravicius is leveled up for the catarinas is most likely worthwhile.

i have gravicius in transportation + another guy. but i have huge problems to generate transportation juice. it take me around 20 maps to fill 1 transportation is this normal ?

One thing to note (and not sure how it affects results), but you can access the safehouse while still within the map (view investigation after clearing the encounter). Jun acts like a map device. In your case, I think you basically could get more rounds through once Transpo safehouse has been raided. But not sure if that messes up strats.

Why do you want Gravivicius as the leader of the safehouse if possible? Additional rewards for leaders were removed long ago, so is there some other advantage to it?

When the safehouse is finished it will swap the captain and non-captain so having grav become a non-captain makes it easier to rank him back up.

Cool guide, been playing ssf this league and working on syndicate for a change, do you think this will also be a good (or not bad) stratergy for getting a paridoxica? IE as you are running transportation multiple times it should eventually drop?

Paradoxica only drops on intervation safehouse ilvl 82+, so u need to farm intervention instead of transport

Unless something changed, why would you block fortification. How is it increasing chances of transportation, if you just randonly either get transport or get nothing instead of fort. What's the reason behind putting gravicius as a leader, i didn't get it.

You don't randomly get nothing it will choose transportation as the 3rd encounter if fortification is ready. You put grav as leader so that he falls to non-captain status afterwards and is easier to level.

Does T3 Gravicius give the Divination scarab of curation in intervention? This might be a good farm on softcore necropolis 😮

not guaranteed. Because scarab tiers were removed, rank 3 and 4 syndicate members are not guaranteed to drop rare scarabs. Its just random. You'll do it 10 times in a row and get no divination of curation. Its not worth running betrayal anymore except if you have a very fast powerful character that can farm Catarina in the minimum amount of maps possible and even then it might not be worth it because the Catarina fight is slow and terrible due to invulnerability phases

I did around 20 cats this league and got only 1 curation from him, but yeah, it can drop. And if u are farming intervention, u will get some paradoxicas (i got 3)

I’ve been farming this in Cata and Intervention safehouses and it is extremely rare for non basic Div scarabs to spawn. Only got 1 Curation and 0 Completions so far after 7 Catarinas with T4 Grav

scarab tiers were removed so safehouse scarab rewards are random now. There is no weighting toward rarer scarabs. Dont bother trying to farm good scarabs in betrayal. Betrayal is dead content this league tbh

This is what i have been doing. But ive been getting garbage T3 Gravicious loot. I have been trying to research if theres any weight difference between T3 and T4 but theres no concrete info. based on others data, it looks like T4 has better weighting. but because i only got garbage, i stoppped.

To bad they removed the white socket craft. I guess that was their quick fix to remove something that was traded via discord and all they could do this league 😆. I wonder if they don't like the white socket idea, given that they didn't reintroduce them via beast or harvest. Or if there was just no time left.
