Synergy Hub Centric Wheel Spacers

I'm happy with my factory rims, but their backspacing won't allow me to install wide tires without rubbing. To alleviate this, install some 5x5 Synergy Hub Centric Wheel spacers. Its quick and easy, and your tires will thank you!

I heard on JL (non-Rubi) best to get the 1.75 or you'll have to cut bolts. Also, 1.75 gives a total 4.25 backspace which is great. Thanks for the video.

Fact is, the hub centric rings do not bear a load. The weight of the vehicle is actually supported by the friction between the wheel and its mounting surface on the axle. The friction is established and maintained once the lug hardware is properly installed and torqued to specs.

The spacer absolutely transfers weight to the hub.

It will be the same as what's shown here. 5x5 pattern for wranglers

2" is pretty wide, it will result in more stress on your hub since there will be more leverage. Depends how far out you want your wheel to sit

Will that Jeep spacers will be fitt in Honda CRV wheels?

No. The lug pattern for CRVs is 4.5" diameter. The Jeep wheel lug pattern is 5" dia. Also, the studs themselves on the CRV are a slightly smaller diameter (12mm), while the Jeep studs are 1/2" (12.7mm)

Shouldn’t torque your wheels at all with them off the ground. Ouch!

Good point. Even with the parking break on they should be torqued with weight on them. Good thing they've been torqued since. Thanks for watching

That lip on the spacer does not take any weight its only for aid of centering the wheel to the hub after that is useless.

it's also the wheel side which makes the spacer "wheel" centric. hub centric refers to the side that touches the hub. Quality spacers will be both hub and wheel centric.

Yep, the wheel itself doesn't transfer and weight to the lip, but the spacer transfers weight to the hub.
